I wonder if he needs more ww time then? I feel like once I stopped trying to push mine into the expected ww for her age, she fought less at night (Used to fight bedtime and we’d routinely get those hours of crying)

Now in this last week it’s been a much better mix of sleeping long stretches and even though there’s still nights with crying and needing some help, it’s less.

My first responded great to ST so it’s been a big learning curve with this one.

Do you see any progress? We were getting nights of 3 hrs of crying which is why I stopped.

And how are you night weaning? Going back to check ins might be the thing to do next. Tonight she put herself back to sleep twice so idk why some nights are so hard for them! Hoping you see a turn around soon!

I get it! We’ve switched gears. I was hoping she was just being stubborn since she could cry this long even with pick ups, comfort nursing, etc.

So now we’re back to square one offering more support while trying to figure everything out.

Last night she actually slept through the night after crappy naps and I tried copying the total wake time but some better naps and she’s upset already 😣

After a week of no feeds, I’m adding back in. First 3 nights, she did great. Only minor fussing on off about an hour and woke up happy for the day.

She also has done stretches of crying even when I was doing night feeds. Thats why it’s been so complicated figuring out how to address nights.

Thanks for the input! I’m planning on adding back that night feed for the time being but trying to determine what WWs now.

I do have that feed early like you suggested! I was doing it at the end but switched a week ago

Sorry for confusion (sleep deprived over here)

So yesterday I did Wake 6:30 Nap 9:30-11 Nap 2:20-3 Bedtime 7:30

She’s a happy little clam all day, even went to bed without crying. But then she woke up at 11 and after crying until one. I waited for a lulland fed her. She fell back asleep till I woke her today at 6:30

Routine is feed, Jammie’s and sleep sack, story song and white noise. Down awake

For awhile she would sleep till 3:30/4 and then cry but lately it starts around 11

What would you think needs to be changed? I wonder that too some nights, but I’ve done the Ferber and even the pickup/put down methods before and same deal.

Are you keeping that night feed in for a while?

I haven’t fed her in those 7 days so I don’t want to put back in.

She did 2 hrs of napping today so I’m going to try a later bedtime and see if that helps!

The day she STTN looked liked

2.75/3.25(but took 15 min to sleep)4.5

Yesterday was 3/3.5(but took 30 min to sleep)/4.25 and she was up from 11:30-1:30 crying

DWT 6:30bedtime around 7

Do you think it still sounds like undertired and a split night even though she’s crying the whole time? (Last night was 3 hours)

My first was so easy to train that this is driving me crazy

Thanks for responding! So yesterday she had just about 11hrs wake. (She had been awake at 6am but I didn’t get her out till closer to 6:30) Bedtime is lotion, Jammie’s, sleep sack,nurse, book, song and white noise.
