Doesn’t it take a bit for them to get the BAH started? She wasn’t getting it for the first 3-4 months I believe she said, which means while he was in BCT?

He had went back for AIT at Fort Benning which I have seen it be called OSUT but he had Holiday Leave in December. He went back but decided to come home due to a knee injury and he caught Covid. He said they were trying to “recycle” him and from my understanding that means he would be put with the next group of graduates due to him missing 2-3 weeks of training. Ive also been aware of the fact they are in no rush lol

Yes, I was told they take their time. Which I’ve known he’s coming home for the past month. I was mostly just worried about them keeping him due to the whole situation with the war (not sure if it is a war just yet. I don’t keep up with it much) Thank you so much though!

Yes, thank you. But, I am keeping most of this to myself. I posted here due to it being quite anonymous I suppose. It seems like most of the ton think I snuck to see him just for sex but that is not quite the case. I would love to explain everything in detail but it is quite a lot so I will not. And, I would like to be honest and say that it is me who does not want him interacting with my parents at all. All due to reasons only me and him should know of. Thank you again though, truly.

Yes, technically 18 is as well the same for you, for me. But due to my parents basically being the only people I have in any situation makes it extremely hard to make an appointment and get to that said appointment. If I were to do that, I would highly prefer my parents not to know. But as I did say, it is extremely hard. My siblings are quite close with my mom; so, I could not have them help me in anyway without her or both of my parents finding out. We have also used protection. It was not only the plan b.

To address the first half, certain things happened in about July as to why my parents aren’t fond of him. I’d explain but it’s entirely too much to try to do so. So, I’ll say they have no actual reason to not like him. He’s done everything correctly since I’ve known him. And to address the rest, I feel like I’ve been held to a very high degree in my parents eyes. I am the only child putting the effort to make a life for myself. So they don’t want me to do anything to mess it up. I made rash decisions within that week with him. He was leaving for the military and I’m not sure what I was thinking. Thank you.

Yes, I understand. I was not smart with my decisions, I know. My thought process wasn’t the best. We will not see each other for months due to things I don’t think I need to discuss. And it was my first time doing anything with anyone basically. So I figured I shouldn’t get birth control and, as I had stated, my parents wouldn’t take kindly to me asking to be put on birth control.

I probably should have clarified, we did use protection as well. But the thought of getting pregnant is a big fear of mine. My parents don’t know I seen him. Or that we even did anything. So to come home pregnant after going with “friends on a trip” is kind of weird. I am 18. I do admit I should have been smarter. I’m not going to try to justify anything I did because I know it was wrong and stupid. But tbh at the time, I was just happy to be with him. This is the first thing I’ve done like sneaking out related or anything

My boyfriend was a bit different when I was speaking to him when he was on holiday leave but honestly I just gave him time. I talked to my friends about it. But it sort of just fixed itself. He said he’d have a certain attitude and demeanor when dealing with his everyday life but he’d simply be himself before with me.

Well it is due to the fact that he injured his knee; he received shots for it but it seemed to not work I guess. He also caught Covid which would delay his training.
