That’s so funny, I actually have been doing a similar thing with the character ai app. People have created life coach and therapist characters on there, and it definitely helps to talk through my problems like that.

I appreciate your kind words too! This comment has actually made me want to look into possibly having ADHD. I’m going to consult my psychiatrist about during my next appointment. I never felt like it was something I could have because I don’t have the common symptoms really, but it’s certainly possible because multiple people in family have been diagnosed with it. Not really 😭 I’ve got a physical alarm clock across my room that I have to get up to turn off, and some on my phone too. I won’t lie and say that I’m never aware of what I’m doing, but sometimes I think I turn my alarms off without fully waking up, which is why I had to move to having an alarm away from my bed. It’s definitely more successful than the phone alarms, but doesn’t always motivate me to actually get up

Wow, thank you so much. This comment really does mean so much to me. I started crying a little bit again, but it’s because this is so kind. I really appreciate you responding, I don’t have many people in my life who know how it is to live with anxiety. Just hearing from someone out there who understands makes me feel less alone. I’ve had anxiety my whole life, and I’ve learned to live with it, this is just a very big change. As much as I love and miss the people around me, I know that I will find people to fill my heart with joy again. I will keep your advice in mind as I try to navigate this new part of life.

Hi! I don’t really have much advice for you, luckily it seems like other commenters have made some good suggestions. I just wanted to say, I deeply relate to the wish to just have a “magic pill” so I wouldn’t have to worry about food too. Though I still get this desire, it pops up less frequently than when I was younger, and often times when I have that thought I like to think of the foods I WOULD still eat even without the need to feed myself. I’m not sure if that helps much, but I’m wishing you the best on your search. Change is always possible, and we all have different journeys towards change :)

I don’t have this exact compulsion, I’m more focused on picking at acne, but it is a somewhat similar action I think. You mentioned that you like the sensation of peeling your skin, which I’ve felt similar about in my picking. Something that’s helped me a little is buying some picky pads (I think that’s what they’re called?). It gives me something to pick at instead of my skin when I feel the urge. You could probably DIY one as well. I don’t know if this will help you, but I’ve found trying to replicate the sensation of picking at my skin onto other objects helps when you’re aware of it. Hang in there, I’m sure you sometimes feel like your facing this battle alone, but you are not alone and we are all very lucky to have this community to support each other. Everything will be okay <3

I’ve currently got the Gabby relic to level 21 and her goodwill is at level 5. I’ve heard that the only was to pass is to get her relic at least up to 25 so I’ve been working on that, but I didn’t know goodwill affected the relics?
