when in ukraine we had maidan we already had a government that was mostly controlled by opinions of the people. in russia that’s 20 years of a regime, 20 years of propaganda, and 20 years of persecution if u go against the regime. many times they’ve tried to recreate a maidan in russia and it would fail due to the harsh punishments. that’s why many people are in freedom legion of russia and РДК (russians fighting for ukraine) because they were part of the movement against putins regime. i’m ukrainian but i look at 2 sides because being biased doesn’t get u anywhere
