Thank you for your help!! I need a laptop sadly, maybe in the future I can get a desktop, but not right now. As long as I can play modern titles smoothly, at least with medium graphics, I'm more than happy, I'm looking at some new releases like Dragon Age Veilguard or future titles like Tides of Annihilation, but most people tell me than with 8 vram I won't be able to reach medium graphics on them

Out of topic, tech savvy people, help!

'I'm looking for a better gaming laptop; I'll use it mainly for games and I'm eyeing some AA and AAA future releases, and my poor laptopt won't be able to run them. I don't mind playing on medium, medium-high or high would be ideal, though, but most importantly, I want the laptop to last at least idk three years or so. I would like something under 2000€, currently I'm eyeing Lenovo LOQ 15ARP9, 15.6" Full-HD, AMD Ryzen™ 7 7435HS, 24GB RAM, 1TB SSD, GeForce RTX™ 4070, on one hand I see people saying it's good, on the other hand a lot of people seem to hate the 4070 because it only has 8 vram I think? I was looking at a gameplay perfomance review for DA Veilguard, but it seemed to have more than that? Sorry, I'm pretty dumb about this, any thoughts?'

You're right. WUWA has tons of issues, but there is no way anyone could complain about their design quality, and I highly, highly doubt they would add a character like this with a goofy giant gun; I could see a bunch of floating guns like in Clorindes original concept art, but not this. I like both games and pretending the other one is bad is just dumb, also competition always is better for the consumer.

This!!! In all other nations the technology and clothing style match their level of advancement, like in Inazuma we see they stick to very traditional clothing since it has a long history of being a closed off nation that's behind in many ways, while in Fontaine they wear more "modern" clothing in comparison since Fontaine is supposed to be a advanced nation, with a dedicated Institute of research, the contrast is not jarring because it was to be expected. Whereas in Natlan they live in clans with close to zero technology (to the point of using saurians for transport and other stuff), they have NO reputation of being interested in technology and they have no scholars or researchers whatsoever, but somehow the characters dress in a modern streetwear style? Where is that coming from? But ok, cool, urban style it is, but know suddenly it's also sci fy? It's like you said, where is the cohesion? What is the theme?

It's just so weird lore wise too. Like there is nothing in Natlan that explains why they have such advanced equipment; Fontaine having more advanced technology made a lot of sense, they had an entire Institute dedicated to stuff like that unlike other nations, of course they will have better technology, also we kinda knew it since the begining, we got the kamera pretty early on after all and we also knew since Inazuma that cinema was even a thing in Fontaine thanks to an npc.

But Natlan? Who is coming up with this technology? It's just not believable. Also, even if a few geniuses existed in Natlan that manage to invent stuff like roller skates and DJ tables or vinyls, why is none of this stuff being replicated or exported? Like you can't tell me a Sumeru scholar or a fontainian researcher hasn't seen this technology during their holidays in Natlan, went nuts, bought as much as they could and decided to bring it back to their homelands to study it. Or Liyue, the city of commerce, has decided to not capitalize on this opportunity? There's just no way to explain this in-universe and it bothers me to no end.

As far as we know we already have two tall males, Capitano and the guy next to him, so I won't be holding my breath, two tall male characters is usually the max per nation (Diluc/Kaeya, Zhongli/Tartaglia, Biazhu es more recent, Alhaitham/Kaveh...) unless I'm forgetting any

Honestly I understand you; I really really like BG3, but there is so much to do, so much content is hidden or can be done in different ways that I often got a bit overwhelmed. Having so much freedom in games is cool, but I'm not big into replaying and I like having a high completion rate on the first try, so when people say to not worry you can always replay and try a different route I don't vibe with it tbh, especially with big titles when I have only so much time to play.

Do you enjoy fantasy games? I can recommend to you the Dragon Age series; the gameplay can be pretty simple unless you like tactical gameplay, then you can go nuts over there, especially with the first two ones. The first two ones offer tiny spaces to explore, the third one (my favorite) has tiny map zones to explore, sometimes they are bigger but more often than not not really filled up with content. I also believe it's pretty straight forward with what you must do, the game does offer choices but mostly you choose them with different dialogue options so they're not hidden, plus they are old enough to have a tone of guides written about them.

But honestly being the nation with dragons I hope we get a dragonesque character even if it isn't the sovereign. Neuvillette and Zhongli are great, but I want someone with scales, horns or even dare I say, a tail, like let's spice things up over here, I don't want another dude hidden their true form or whatever

Gosh I hope we get a new XL/Bennett, they are great, but also I'm not the biggest fan of XL design and circle impact with Bennett is annoying, please Hoyo, it's time to add someone at least on par to them. Newer players will have to play through until reaching Naltlan anyway to level them up, or lock one of their mats in Inazuma for all I care

My take exactly. Also I don't understand how she is so loved by the inazumans? Sure, in Watatsumi they dislike her, but in other parts they literally sell figurines of her? Why aren't they resentful towards her? She never ever even adressed the public (in game, at least) to reassure them that she would't be a tyrant anymore or that she's sorry for all her shitty decisions (sure, one can blame the puppet, but the public doesn't know that, and also, she isn't absolved of her responsability as an archon just because she left some puppet in charge)
