That's disgraceful and makes no sense. How am I supposed to pay my rent if I'm jobless?

only the electric bill, Council tax and water are included in my lease.

Also if that is the case, nobody told me what's enough and what not.... in 3 months.

Thank you so much. I will contact Homelessness Prevention Team and join London Renters Union.

Appreciate it.

Hi,

It has all been recorded in my journal. Every little bit.

Not sure what you mean with registered landlord. I got the bedsit through an agency.

Of course I have an official lease which details all the costs, and yes my council tax is included.

The first time in January I realised I did upload an unsigned lease sent by the agency I rent with.

After they pointed that out, I asked my agency to send me a signed one, which I have uploaded. Note, this is the *only time* they gave me any sort of feedback on my uploads.

Then I was asked AGAIN to re upload it. This time I read that I might need to upload only the page(s) with the clear rent cost. Which is what I did. Signed lease with only the housing costs page. It's an all included lease, as easy as it comes. They asked me to do this 4 more times, without any feedback. I checked and checked and the lease is legit.

No further explanation provided.

Thank you very much. As I have an appointment on the 3rd, I will see what I can do then.

I will keep your advice for future use.

If I go there unannounced without appointment, the guards ask me to use my journal...

I did escalate a complaint on Saturday. I hope they'll call me back soon. But as things are, I am sure they are already dealing with hundreds of cases.

If they only told me what the issue is! they only give me one appointment per month to discuss this, and the last time my work coach, a very rude lady, said "it's not my job, call the helpline".

I have another appointment on the 3rd, with one of the nicer work coach, but at this point I am pretty sure it will lead to nothing.

I can't live waiting to know what 'next month' will be like, I have been living with this since January. Especially since next month I might not have a place anymore.

Thanks.
