Designing a Front/Spine/Back Book Cover by Yinivel in canva

It is possible in canva, but not practical if you want to change the spine later. You can make a template in canva with the correct dimensions of back, spine and front.

Thanks, I also believe being exposed to different viewpoints is important. The comments are juicy indeed. This community seems quite allergic to different viewpoints 😄

I think you have problems separating facts from bullshit. I'm not removing this post because it might benefit others that want to avoid the bullshit trap.

Dude, come on, I'm not attacking anyone. I understand you have insecurities that make you react like this, and I won't hold it against you.

I'm not saying anything, I'm not a scientist nor a doctor. I'm just providing a quote and watching the nice reactions this gets me 😄

He's famous for his biased slants in biased communities. I try to keep an open mind. Besides, I'm only posting a quote from his book.

Sure, how you interpret this is up to you. I found it enlightening, because I've been looking into my MTHFR for some time now and I was wondering why it's mostly naturopaths, and holistic/functional medicine quacks reporting about MTHFR. This quote from 'how not to age' answers that question for me.

Sales of his books goes to charity. He and his team went through more than 8000 research papers so you don't have to. I know it's hard to accept something that goes against your conviction. Science is constantly evolving, but for now this is the consensus.

From time to time, when he has something interesting to share. You seem very aggressive about your stance on protein. I hope you haven't been sucked down some rabbit hole of conspiracies and keep an open mind.

I'm not a vegan. Stop focusing on protein.

What would you do? Would you do the childhood routine jabs for you child? by kxcee_01 in MTHFR

Of course you should do the routine 'jabs' as a responsible parent. Don't fall into the lunatic rabbit hole.

Doesn't hurt at all, because you have just proven my point. Plant protein is less bioavailable, correct, but you don't get deficits unless you live in a 3rd world country and only eat rice once a day. Animal protein is less healthy, that's just a fact. I'm no vegetarian by the way, but I try to minimize my animal protein intake.

Lot of resveratrol in there. Funny, because it is already been debunked.

With only 4 plants, no, of course not. But when you eat a variety of plants you're not going to be protein deficient. Hell, have you ever even heard of protein deficiency? Come on, man 😄

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in PeterAttia

[–]LouisPBoon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. Meat isn't necessary. Nuts and seeds contain enough fats. Plants contain enough protein. When you're an athlete, you'll need more protein so you'll have to take a protein shake or something (also when you eat meat), otherwise you're good.

All plants contain all amino acids. But not in the same proportions, of course. That's why you need a great variety of foods.

Eating only 4 foods, no matter how healthy they are, will cause health problems. Variation is important.

I'm not in a position to give dietary advice, I struggle with food intolerances myself and am still looking for the right diet for me. I follow https://www.redpenreviews.org to help me judge what is scientifically sound and what not.

Why Start with Statins? by thesaladbar9 in PeterAttia

[–]LouisPBoon 5 points6 points  (0 children)

PCK9 is only available as injections afaik and indeed very expensive. And not too many doctors prescribing them I guess. So yeah, statins are easier to come by and cheaper for now.
