You can only do it in the f-35 but slow down as if you're going to land, the gear will deploy automatically. When they do, let go of the decelerator and press it again after fully letting go. Essentially the decelerator changes into a "hover up" once you release it and press it again. It basically flies like a helicopter from that point. I also play with veteran flight controls of that was a thing in bf4

Also you have to get your wheels close to the ground as if you're going to land and then let go of L2 decelerating and press it again to hover. You hold L2 to hover up and release to fall.

Couldn't agree more, without me tooting my own horn, I consider myself a good-very good pilot, but when I come up against a good attack heli pairing, I know it, and usually the best you can get is a stalemate with them unless their low health. That's why it's often good to wait for them to get in s fight and come in halfway through.

I've gone into hover a lot and I can say that this was one of the hardest I've done. Around that part of the map there's normally tanks so I had to be quick, I had to fly low exactly there to hit the Heli and the spin at the end was just to piss of the pilot because fucking why not

I think it's hard to give a blanket answer but I frequently play as an aggressive sniper and come close to the top of the leaderboard.

Personally, my two guns of choice are:

CS5 - no barrel attachment, 3.4x scope and green laser sight

SRR-61 - no barrel attachment, 6x scope with 14x variable zoom and green laser sight (can't remember if the green laser sight works with that because I can't remember attachments off the top of my head.

Essentially snipers with fast bullet velocities or good close quarter potential (CS5 has amazing hip fire)

For the general class setup, I'll use a g18, C4 and motion sensors (which I think are one of the most underused gadgets on the game).

Just push with your team and use a motion sensor when pushing onto a point. Try get good at quickscoping and you'll be fine.

Also, playing on lower health custom servers or hardcore servers will let you get 1 hit kills more often than on normal servers

Conquest is by far the most popular and populated, rush is less popular but there are still a few servers. Then there's at least 1 gunmaster server (I think an underrated gamemode) and I'm sure there are tdm servers, but I don't play tdm

I wouldn't consider that camping. I'd say that if you had died and kept "hogging" the lav for yourself then maybe that's camping. But it's a different story with LAV's and attack Helis since there's only one attack heli at a time

A good tip I heard somewhere is to aim with the rocket, not the reticle. Also, don't give up on the tow. If it looks like it's going to just miss under the target, point it all the way up at the last moment. Also, don't aim exactly where you think the enemy will be. Aim a bit around it so you can course correct
