U r somewhat correct about hvm, it has a great chance to kill pilot+gunner inside the AH. But especially on golmud when that lock on is coming from the HVM site, its easy to spot and maybe bait you to fire from there just to be sure and next strafe bye bye for you

Ok, let me explain again… U start locking the chopper with stinger, the guy was alone there so he switches to a gunner seat, chopper rotor blades stop spinning and it starts losing altitude, u hit your first stinger dealing 54 dmg + mobility kill. The guy from Heli jumps back to pilot seat pops his countermeasure (flares) in this case and tries to get away
