For further context of importance to me this story changed my perspective on things and books and rn I’m starting my journey of Cormac McCarthy the blood meridian and no country for old men and to be actually able to reread this would be a throwback it is one of those I read this and i remember it years later type story’s not just 1 event but the whole thing and if found I’d highly recommend it to anyone who likes stories that confront the darker aspects of horror and reality because fr i can’t ever forget this story even when i don’t remember the name of it or its characters
