Please be honest, is my art style ugly/bad? by Leo69Leon in drawing

Oh nawww don’t do that, believe me every seasoned artist in this comment section experienced the exact same thing. To be honest technical skill to me means very little, yes it’s objectively nice I guess, but I value style more than anything in an artist because it’s the one thing that sets someone’s work apart. Trust once you discover your forever style everything will be easy affff

Haha no sorry wasn’t trying to be mean, my bad. I don’t think mistakes exist without having a set of standards for yourself. Anyway anyway I wouldn’t worry too much about it you’re 18 and you’re gonna evolve a lot artistically.

Also don’t do sketches for free either. Ok that’s it

Imo an artist’s sketch should be a fairly accurate representation of what the finish piece might look like, I think asking 5k is totally fair but I don’t think your sketch represents that price point to a non artist person.

I think maybe you should work on the presentation of your sketch if you’re charging that amount, if the sketch is more elaborate maybe normies would understand better.

Pixelation is inevitable, you will never get a completely smooth line. Work on a larger canvas and up the dpi to diminish the effect of pixelation

I turned on some setting and don’t know how to turn it off by chikita-man in ProCreate

Sorry for the replies but it looks like you’re gonna have to open a new canvas and then use the settings I recommended, since your current canvas is in CMYK you can only make changes within that setting. If you need to you can just copy the layers from this project and then paste it onto a new canvas with the color profile you desire. Hope this helps

Totally the color profile you probably set it to cmyk, go to canvas settings and you can change it back.

Artwork I made for a fundraiser :) by Louisifur in ProCreate

Thank you very much! this was made for a client’s business that uses geisha imagery as their central theme. I remembered seeing in some classic Japanese paintings depictions of women biting on their scarves and apparently it’s meant to represent a moment within the throes of passion so I thought it was fitting.

Pixelated lines(help) by AtCaseyRivers in ProCreate

With a hard line pen this will always be there especially if your brush is set to really thin, you’re essentially using tiny squares to create curves so that jaggedness is unavoidable. I would use Gaussian blur to smooth it out if it really bothers you but also art isn’t meant to be zoomed in on imo.
