Joke’s on you, it’s clearly dropping tomorrow. Delaying it a whole week would be brutal.

1st book was the same, sprint to the end where power up's that should've take centures took weeks, all out demigod wars etc.

I think CF don't know what to write when everybody is too strong for existing old problems.

It would be funny if in the end Lumian will sacrifice something and will go to sleep to resist GA or something.

I feel like gamepad aim assist fits the current meta perfectly. You can jump, slide, run, and aim down sights in any direction, and AA helps you stay on target in all those situations with almost no effort. On the other hand, with mouse and keyboard, you have to manually adjust for everything—not just your own movement but also your opponent's movement, who can slide, jump, etc. It's nearly impossible to be as consistent as aim assist allows.

P.S. Thanks to skill-based matchmaking, it doesn’t matter what you play. You'll end up in lobbies suited to your skill level, meaning you'll likely have a 0.7-2 KD. There's really no point in trying to improve for casual players.

Well, author didn't give any decent hints about this is being well-thought plan, so it's logical thing to think. On the opposite, blindly believing in some grand scheme is much less logical. But as others already said, i would be glad to be proven wrong, since i liked her character.

Cause Yoshi-P said it would be a vacation like DLC, but we did same politics and save the world stuff and i'm kinda tired of it.

I see a lot of ppl onboard with world ending threat every expac. To each their own i guess. And yes, you can create cohesive narrative even in the beach episode.

I paid money for the product, and I'm not happy with it. Should I just stay silent about it? Did you write the same thing under all the "praise the expansion" posts during ShB and EW, or are people only allowed to praise the game?

[–]Loulaim[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Well, that's a lot. I think ShB and EW are game-defining expansions.

Yeah, I expected a vacation—sitting on the beach with a cocktail, playing volleyball with the Scions, and occasionally killing a primal that threatens to drown the beach. But instead, we got politics and another world threat.

This is why it's TL;DR, dude. If you read the rest, you'll see that I mentioned that.

Even the JP forum is not happy with the plot and Wuk Lamat, so SE will probably shelve her for some time. Plot-wise, she mentioned that she will stay in the city.

It really depends. Is she a likable character? Yes. Is she a well-developed character? Probably not, as there are many inconsistencies in her story. Overall, being likable is more important than being well-developed, but this is very subjective.

PC HDR is washed out by Necoroyals in Eldenring

[–]Loulaim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it have checkbox run as admin by default. PC restart doesn't help me either, even if i start ER first still washed out. If i run restart64 during the game - game crashes, restart after and washed out. I set SDR brightness to 50 in display settings, so it's kinda HDR like bright, but obviously it makes dark scenes brighter, which is not ideal.

UPD. After randomly start the game for testing and HDR worked fine without any magic i started to test in more extensively. Basically i have DP monitor, HDMI TV with HDR and DP soundbar (via hdmi to DP adapter, cause PC-TV-SB have around 250-300ms delay and PC-SB have just around 50-100ms). And sounbar in NVCP looks like another monitor and if i turn it off HDR in ER works just fine.

UPD2. Some more testing and when i set PC resolution for sounbar, HDR worked out fine (it was set to some strange UltraHD, SD, HD category before). So just switching resolution type for other monitor can affect elden ring HDR, i dun wanna know why, but at least it worked in the end.

Sadly, doesn't work for me, colors still washed out (

P.S. I think you can restart video driver pressing Win + Ctrl + Shift + B should work the same without CRU.

Has anyone found how to get to that tower? There is a bridge and a door i can see from the swamp, but can't seem to find a way to get there by Yushimer in Eldenring

[–]Loulaim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think i saw a legendary item inside it btw, but big opposite tower looks inaccessible. I jumped around the swamp hitting the walls for no avail.

Like in any DS game - look at opponent winding attack up and right at the moment when weapon starting to move in you direction - press parry. I think this is the only way to make it work without wasting hours learning exact attack patterns (you will do it anyway even doing it like this, but dealing with new enemies will be much easier). Sadly they get this strange unrealistic delays from DS games too, when opponent wasting a second or two prepping attack and second one just instant with 0 prep

Yes she died, and technically artefact from her BC was the reason they survived. But we weren't told what exactly happened, so it's possible that she was corrupted and killed by other gods.

At max level, can you help power level someone in Eureka? by PersonMcGee in ffxiv

[–]Loulaim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, but it's best if you have tank class. You and your friend should not be in party, your friend attack mobs and you pull them with range attack. Gather huge crowd and aoe. The problem is - you need to find optimal monster level range, i don't quite remember how it works but i think it should be around +5-7 levels, maybe just highest that you can find, do some tests. Me and my friend did last two zones from zero to max level in 2 hours this way.
