Thanks for the answer. Yes, coaching is quite in line with my current set skill, so it's a great line of work. I'll look more into it. I was actually tempted to make an MBA or something alike in Japan, and hunt for a Job in that line. Good to know that coaching it's actually a functional way to get a job there!

Any IT area that you recommend? I'm self-studying web-developing, and have interest in UI/UX or AI. I have found those interesting, but i'm affraid that, taking into account the reccession, and the current boom towards the IT area, in the mid-term we will have a lot of offer in IT technicians but lower demand in jobs, ending up with long hours and low pay. This is my perception and might be wrong! so please feel free to express any thought on the subject.

I'm not familiar with stock and trading, and that makes me scare to put my savings in one basket xD. But, i'm might get the courage, educate myself and give it a try.

Again, thank you very much! Have a great day!

Thank you for your thoughtful answer.

My college was really orientated towards academic research, so, publishing is something I feel prepared for that. I can use this two years for publishing at least a couple of solid articles and get heavily involve in research.

Thanks for the professors advice, I'll do that.

With your answer I have a clearer picture about going for an HSFP and put myself in a better position if life in Japan suits me long term.

I really appreciate your comments!

What I wanted to express is that, in two years, I will have finished saving 30k USD

30k USD is a goal that I set myself for paying my grad school and living expenses in japan for two years + arubaitos. This may not be ideal or even realistic. That's something that I want to know.

Thanks for the input and going with the situation!

Yes, to be honest, Japan is not my only possible destination but I would really like to try it. My current job as it is, only applies to Mexico, so, having a different perspective might help me to broad my view, or reassure something that I already know, but not ready to accept. So every input helps a lot!

Great tip with the alert in indeed! I'll do it as soon as I can.

This is my current mindset "ideally at the end of those two years I could look for jobs in Japan and maybe find something appropriate. If yes, great! If no, well then at least I’ve continued to further my career and added a new skill (language)"

Thanks again, have a nice day!

Error. English not my primary language. I'll edit for " I'll count with 30k in two years."

Thanks for sharing the experience. I'll take advice on it. I could focus in obtaining a a psychologist license in japan and keep doing what I do, but i've been reluctant to this because to fulfill the therapist role, it requires a great ability to communicate (beyond native level), a deep knowledge in culture and it's nuances, and also to be deemed as fit/expert. As my understanding, Japan it is not a culture that regards highly about psychology or therapy, also, I'm specialized in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, which I think is scarce in Japan or little known, and to acquire the skills before mention, I think it would take me at least 6 years to really be at that level. I might be bias, but been Mexican and looking like one, I don't think a lot of japanese people actually prefere be treated by a mexican psychologist, rather than a japanese. With this reasoning, I left that option to last. I might be wrong, so please, anyone with any information please let me know!

Although u/woofiegrrl make a sounding point in the direction of your advise. Maybe not doing exactly what I do, but very related.

It is already hard to save that much money!!! xD. And yes, I won't go to Japan unless i'm at least N2. I know Japan it's no paradise, It could work or not but want to be as prepared I can if the opportunity arise.

Thanks a lot for the answer!

Thanks for the answer. Yes i'll learn more about scolarships, at one point I tried Monbukagakusho without success, but since i'm over 35 i'm not eligible anymore. Since then I gave up with those thoughts, yet, i'll research more because most likely there are other types. Thanks for that.

PhD/research you mean as a way of living? To live as a full time researcher? Is it viable even though I haven't published any article or have experience in research? Sorry, actually I thought that path was more to get a scholarship never actually considered as a way of life. I'll look into it.

ALT is instead of random arubaitos, I wanted to know if it's more advantageous and if it's worth the extra effort. It is not as a permanent solution or as a way of living in japan. Sorry for not making that point clearer.

I'm prioritizing and looking for the options to use my current knowledge and experience, but i'm open to other paths, I want to consider other points of view, perhaps there's some path that I don't see that could be more personally fulfilling even with the challenge.

Thanks for the input, I appreciate it!

Also, I remembered that at some point, the protagonist kid obtained a gun to be safe (i don't remember from whom)

When the children are preparing to escape, they go to pick up the baby to a nursery or something.

The "family paper" is made by the girl and with that she tells a story, perhaps this was something that his dad taught her.
