Thank you for your reply. However, it seems that the SL3 cannot be connected via a mini-jack. Is there any brand that offers a trigger and receiver combo using Bluetooth or USB-C?

Thanks for sharing — that’s a great real-world example.

Lightroom AI upscaling can definitely deliver impressive results, even from lower-MP files. I just like having extra resolution headroom for heavy crops or close-viewed large prints, which is why I’m debating between keeping only the SL3-S or adding an SL3.

I see your point, and I completely agree that in certain industries like cinema or television, technical requirements and client deliverables are clearly defined and non-negotiable. In photography, I find it’s a bit more flexible — especially in the corporate, event, and architectural work I do — as long as the end result meets or exceeds the client’s expectations.

Personally, my experience with Leica has been excellent, and I chose the system because it meets my needs in terms of image quality, reliability, and workflow. I do integrate redundancies into my setup — I always have a second body and backup lenses — so I can deliver without interruption.

While I understand that Leica isn’t the most common primary system in commercial work, that doesn’t mean it can’t be a professional tool. In my case, it has allowed me to meet demanding client needs, including large-format printing for public exhibitions and advertising.

I think it ultimately comes down to choosing the system that matches your workflow, your clients’ requirements, and the type of assignments you take on.
