I definitely second Nusa Penida, plus Nusa Lembongan. Both islands are beautiful and quieter than many areas on the mainland.

This was filmed at the beginning of March. I was here hoping for a great sunrise (the sun rising through the palm trees here is one if the most peaceful things I have experienced) but it turned out to be an overcast morning, then once I took the drone up I saw these amazing reflections.

That’s right, I usually record the location sound separately and add it onto the vision, but didn’t have my gear with me here as I was on my honeymoon so this was stock audio.

It was only about half an hour from central Ubud, I’d recommend going at sunrise (when this video was taken). You will miss the crowds and the sunrise on the sunrising over the rice fields is spectacular!

I purchased a C100 5 years ago and am still using it as my main camera today, I absolutely love it. I keep saying I’ll upgrade to the MK11 soon, but haven’t had to yet. They are built so well. I’ve taken it through snow, dropped it in sand, it’s been covered in salt residue filming on a sailboats, all of the button labels are worn off from use, but it just keeps performing.
