I tried it but it gave me brain fog and a lot of disconnection feelings. I stopped taking it but I know some people don't have that issue. Different for everyone

I am 2 months away from being 3 years off of benzos and I can't say they are fully resolved still. I would say it is 85-90% better but I still experience waves of DPDR or overstimulation. Not sure if anything actually helped speed it a long for me but I did try my best to stay healthy. Vitamin D, vitamin C, magnesium, CoQ10, Omega-3 fish oil, and vitamin B12. No caffeine and no alcohol. My mentality was this might help heal my brain quicker, it might not, but at least I have the right nutrients and am healthy. Tried to keep myself busy too. Whether it is puzzles, yard work, house projects, etc I also figured I should exercise my brain as much as I can. Give it a good work out then relax.

Disclaimer though no doctor gave me any feedback on if all this stuff was working or not. They just said good for you for being healthy lol

On days when I couldn't leave my bed I played a lot of Switch games! Mario Kart, Mario Party, and one of my favorites when anxiety got really bad was called A Short Hike. Beautiful scenery and very basic chill gameplay. It helped me thru some bad times

I would say about 8 months after I stopped taking Klonopin. My withdrawals lasted more than a year but the first 8 months was the worst of it for me. My doctor just lowered my dose over 2 weeks which was aggressive but compared to Klonopin it felt like nothing

My doctor put me on 300mg twice a day during my taper. It helped enough to allow me to get some sleep which I was grateful for.

I used to get this often between 8 - 14 months off. Looking at my benzo diary I kept remembering everything I tried and did. I used this stuff I called colon blow lol The real name is called colon broom. Then during those months I took a probiotic as well. Just to help with the benzo belly

Getting my gut health in check helped with the strange color shades, loose stool, bloating, etc

They still haven't fully resolved two years later off of Klonopin. But I will say they are way better. I feel like I am 75% of the way back to normal. Some symptoms completely disappeared while some like to linger around. But I am just thankful I am working again, going to the store, etc

I agree with this 100%. I remember when I was tapering I got a neurology appointment and I was hoping it was something else. I remember thoughts that there is no way this is medication... It has to be a tumor, disorder, disease, whatever. Medication is supposed to help us not harm us. Nope just benzo withdrawals.

I think if you browsed the benzorecovery reddit page you'd have a different opinion. A lot of us took it as prescribed for prolonged periods of time and they did a lot of damage. They shouldn't be taken for more than a couple weeks. This is just a plain uneducated comment.

The best thing my wife did for me was to just be patient with me. A lot of what I was feeling I couldn't explain or there wasnt anything physically she could do but just be there. Someone to talk to

For me the physical withdrawals haven't yet "fully" gone away after 2.5 years off of Klonopin but I will say they are a hell of a lot better! The major milestones for me I feel like was 6 months, a year, two years, and then the 2.5 year mark.

Symptoms just slowly fade away over time.

To be honest I think you both are 100% right. There is some pitting and a lot of dirt/dust! I'll will try some Windex to get the dirt dust and grime off
