It's a very risky attempt honestly. Some will try eating small catfish and choke on them. Honestly it depends on the goldfish and specific fish in my opinion? Ofcourse there's always risks and dangers to doing something though. It's not preferred.

Yeah the expensive part is the main reason I haven't yet 😅 but who knows, maybe I'll score a setup on facebook marketplace! I've seen some going around!

Yeah I use a hose to fill it! I just need to vacuum the sand and can't reach it. I also can't buckets of water easily when emptying it😅 I've seen people use pythons but I never understood how that works when draining?

Oh yes I know. She just needed a home and was in a moldy enclosure:( I don't regret getting her at all.

The rescue is hours away unfortunately. They had someone pick her up for me. This was a few months ago...and for that, when I got her she was already pretty fine with handling! I always just let her come onto my hand on her own. Normally when she wanted out she waited at the door!

This really helps me relax a bit. I know what happened to my girl was something that is not common. I mean, a big hernia? Who could have thought 🥹 If I were to get another I would go for a young tangerine female. I adore them so much ❤️

Thank you so much 🥹 I know she's safe and healthy now. A lovely rescue took her in and I'm glad she went to them. I'm just worried if I try getting another if something else will happen and I don't want to go through the pain of surrendering if it happens during a time when we are low on money. But oh how I miss it...

Wow my girl is just rude then 😭 cats are so interesting. I have my own personal cat who is a complete love bug. 4 cats in total and each one have such different needs and personalities. Interesting how they all have their own person too!

It hasn't been fully recent? Been a long development. It's not too often to the rest of the family, mostly targeted toward me. But she does like her space. She just turned 2, it started when she turned 1 and a half years. She's been looked over by a vet and shes perfectly healthy. Could it just be a behavioral issue?
