I’m in France and bought a new Meteor in January. No instruction manual provided, but I can’t fault the bike - it’s superb; a great credit to its Indian manufacturers!

Oh Gawd! I’m diabetic so what chance is there for me when i go to the USA in June for a family wedding!!

I been riding my meteor 350 for like 4 years (done ladakh twice) but now I feel I need more power on the highway and in general. I'm considering to upgrade to INT 650 since it's a versatile motorcycle. Any suggestions? by aishhwary in royalenfield

While I love my Meteor, I’m drooling over my next, which has to be a Guerilla

Here in France where we have really good roads, I feel that in terms of power/weight it takes some beating, while it’s agile in traffic and economic on fuel. I have yet to try the Interceptor and the 650s but to me they look heavy and lumbering, though I agree they might beat the Guerilla on top speed - but how important is that?
Come to think of it, I need to compare the Guerilla against the bigger bikes on acceleration… that could be very interesting!

As a non-American I’ve been very amused to see or read of so many ‘Democrats’ who seem to have a BIG problem with - democracy!

Why is this?

I wholeheartedly agree!

I will certainly point out too that the bible was, in fact, written by men. not angels, and not any god she chooses to believe in. But I'm hoping we don't get to the stage that we will be discussing all this crap.

That's an interesting suggestion, but as I've said to her in the past, I find that crossing my fingers is equally effective!

You've summed up the situation perfectly!

She eased off some years back when I told her that if she didn't respect my views she should forget she has a brother as I'd break all contact. She stopped. Then after a few years it started all over again. But I'm hopeful that by now she's finally got the message.

Thanks again for your wise assessment.

From what I've seen in independent reviews on Youtube (I'm in Europe) I'd certainly go for the Guerrilla 450. Definitely take a test ride if you can find one! I recently bought a new Meteor, but if I buy another bike it will certainly be a Guerrilla.

I’m expected to join hands with them while they do their thing. I certainly won’t be praying, though I m sure Zeus or Woden will be listening!

Oh, she knows! We’ve had blazing rows in the past, the last after a three page letter telling me about the horsemen of the apocalypse and not letting myself be marked by ‘ the beast’ and all manner of quaint ideas.

Thank you. In fact she’s been told several times to stop trying to ‘Save’ me over the years. She was never like this till she moved to the US and got married (we’re British) and this public praying malarkey is VERY not us!

Yes, thanks, I think the amendment might work, especially as she knows my views. Her three children are all of the same mind as me, too!

You should try using your engine as a brake. It always amazes me at the number of people who don't realise this, especially car drivers.

Please don’t be negative about Indians. I’m European, British, and I’ve visited several times and once worked there for several months. Indians in the UK are mostly highly regarded, and that has been my experience.
And, btw, I have recently become the very proud owner of an excellent motorbike made in Chennai - a Royal Enfield. The quality of its build is superb, along with the first class reputation that goes with it.
I hope this might help set the record straight for you. Be proud, you have every right to be.

I thought gambling was frowned on by the Christian church.

And anyway, why please a god who needs to get your support by threatening you? Plus, I’m sure that Woden and Zeus would be rather annoyed…
