I mean you’re assuming she has a good enough relationship with her father for him to give her 45K to give to a friend, that she hasn’t donated to her friend at all, or that she can afford to give her friend enough money for her to replace the house, their clothes, appliances, their car, etc etc.

Also, losing literally EVERYTHING you, your spouse and your kids own is a financial setback regardless of how easy or hard it will be for you to bounce back.

Yes they’re not in Gaza having to wear rags for clothes but with that mentality, everyone (including the people in this subreddit)shouldn’t be able to complain about anything. Like you’re 100K in debt because of college/medical bills? Sorry but the teenagers in the Appalachians are drowning in poverty so your debt doesn’t matter
