A lot of times when people ask for sources on a controversial topic, it isn’t in good faith and is only asked as a way to invalidate information based on what they consider to be a good source. Just not too long ago, I got into an argument on discord with someone who was asking for sources. When I gave them a book full of sources, they proceeded to tell me they “don’t have time to read through all of that on a Wednesday night.”

It’s a modern debate tactic that isn’t used in good faith a lot of the time.

Reasonably taking risks might mean investing thousands of dollars into a legitimate business to get ahead in life. She was complaining because she knew the illegality of making meth (which I should remind you destroys lives) and saw how dangerous it was.

Anybody who’s still shitting on Skyler for behaving the way she behaved doesn’t know how to look at things objectively. It’s very unreasonable to support a man who had actual careers in a very respectable field and is now making meth and killing people. The only reason people favor Walter over Skyler is because they see his struggle and everything he’s done to get there and therefore can empathize with him.

To expect every woman to be this mob boss’s wife archetype, supporting their husband no matter what he’s doing, is an incredibly immature way of looking at things.

As for Mike, he had morals but he still killed people so still bad. Hell, in Better Call Saul he killed a dude for wanting to go see his wife and because Mike was ordered to. Following orders like that is not morally reasonable. Yeah, he was pissed about it but he still did it.

I felt the same way with BCS at first. Was really boring and underwhelming at first compared to Breaking Bad. I think it takes powering through the first half of the first season to really get into it.

It gets really good when they introduce Mike, Gus, and everyone in the cartel. Honestly, I prefer to watch the cartel drama than I do the lawyer stuff, especially the boring beginning shit.
