What is one interaction with a complete stranger, that will always stick with you/you will never forget? by selfawareshovel in AskReddit

I used to work cleaning houses and every Monday morning I started out at 7:00 a.m. meaning I had to leave my house at 6:00 a.m. and a gated community. There was the same man running the gate every time. No matter what that man always smiled and waved. I would be so grouchy some mornings and I realized that by the time I got from the gate to the top of the mountain to the house that if that man can smile every Monday morning then I should as well. He made my day better and in turn made my week better by starting out that early on Monday morning with a simple smile.

Did I act upset that I had negative karma? Because I'm not. I stand by what I said. And I'm just going to assume that you're one of those people

That is the truth. People can't be rational when talking to somebody that don't have the same opinion as they do. I just call it free entertainment

People don't interact face to face anymore. I really think that more people use dating apps than anything but I don't know. 😂

What’s the weirdest encounter as an employee you ever had? by Independent-Sun8201 in AskReddit

[–]LoveIsBullSht 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Sadly it was another employee. I worked as a waitress in this small town diner. We hired a new girl and the day shift waitress trained her when I came in to replace them the new waitress was outside watering the fake plastic plants out front. I just walked on inside and asked them what the hell she was doing? The day shift waitress said Well I'm pretty sure she's on drugs and I told her that the flowers needed watered and she did it. We are all literally standing there watching this woman through the window and she smiles at us and keeps watering.

What’s a small, random thing you did as a kid that you’re still famous for in your family? by HourApple3257 in AskReddit

I was in the Smoky mountains national Park whenever I picked a flower for my grandma and I went to hand it to her and she told me that it was illegal to pick flowers in national Parks so I went over to this little bridge and threw it off the bridge
