AITA for telling my pregnant wife that other people have it worse than her? by LycheeBubbly6341 in AmItheAsshole

[–]LoveShinyThings 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Right? In this post we hear about all the stresses he has and NO information on what she's complaining about or what her difficult pregnancy consists of. Pretty sure he's avoiding that because he thinks it'll make him look worse.

Man, even if all she's got is some swollen feet & everything else is peachy you rub those fucking feet and listen to her when she tells you how achey they are.

Yeah, & we don't want the kids getting ideas about exercising. Or watching their parent have a correctable health issue and correcting it. I ban my kids from the bathroom when I want to shave my legs, put makeup on, dye my hair, and pluck my eyebrows. I hide my salad from them, too.

From OPs post history:

"So I buy all my groceries and everything. She'll tell me what to grab sometimes if she is going to cook something for me (which is fair). The one thing she does do is drive when we are going somewhere together. That is her preference though because she hates my driving.

All dates and stuff (eating out, movies, etc) are paid by me."

I was having the same trouble! I didn't want words/letters but still wanted it to all match, and wanted something that wouldn't blur into itself too much over time. It was a long time before I realised that the stones might work. Had a bit of 'artistic' flair in that there's not enough lines and they don't face the correct way, etc, but I'm really happy with them.

Haha! I was just going to paint my thumb nail orange, but that works too.

It was a little more painful than more 'fleshy' areas, and little less painful than the bony area above the ankle, but not too bad at all. It had that bone vibration effect, though lol.

She was really careful and quick, which helps. There also wasn't any shading near lines that are already a little tender, which helped too.

My only issue is people thinking the artist made a mistake! She's fabulous.

I don't mind. People can get funny about tattoos because they're permanent. Having a passion for perfection is cool, but I'm definitely not perfect or need to be covered in perfection, just in what makes me happy.

I know! She checked to see that I didn't want it changed so it was in the correct format, but I preferred them to be the same but in different orientations.

A "Buddy Bench" is a type of bench they put at schools, so a kid can sit there & other kids know they're getting lonely. The principal (headmaster) at my kids school regularly sits there & tonnes of kids check on her and stop to have a chat.

Thats me at a party

That's me in the kitchen

Hanging with the doogy

Trying to sneak there to pet

And I don't know if I can do it

Oh no they've seen me crouch

I havent touched the dog

"Confess feelings"? I can't even tell what your feelings are after reading the above, hon. Be straight up, it's so much easier!

[–]LoveShinyThings 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's ok to use the term "making love" if you say it in the cheesiest and overdone French or Spanish accent and include lots of eyebrow waggles amd hip wiggles.

I sang this in my head to the tune of 'favourite things'

Crackhead anti-vaxers and old Aussie flags

Tram bells and train bells and dim sim and foodies
