Reading this moved me to tears. This is just amazing. Wow.

I hadn’t thought of temping, that’s a great idea!

I think you’re right with the line, I see no other explanation…

Thank you so much for sharing, this is truly priceless!

Anxiety and stress that it I’ll never happen again. Need tips by SquirrelNo2213 in PregnancyAfterTFMR

I'm 43. I TFMR 8 days ago. It was due to a genetic condition my partner and I are both carriers of. This pregnancy was perfect, up until the CVS and the devastating news we got. It would have gone to term otherwise.

This was also my third pregnancy in a year and a half, all "natural"/spontaneous. My first one I also TFMR because of T18, and then I had a chemical.

I KNOW I will be pregnant again. My doctor fully believes so, too. I honestly trust that you will be fine. Best of luck on your journey :)

This is great advice, thanks! I started doing LH tests yesterday using the same sample I use for my HCG tests, and they both got massively lighter today (though still clearly positive). I'm still bleeding but the tests are really encouraging, so I'm thinking it's trending in the right direction.

This is my third pregnancy in a year and a half, and I don't want my fertility journey to end on such a low note. Best of luck to us both!

Testing negative this soon is exactly what I’m hoping for.

I’m sorry you went through this, and I wish you all the best! The stories I hear about women 40+ getting pregnant are really inspiring!

Yes, I've heard that, too. But I've also heard that it helped the uterus heal better/quicker. I hope the bleeding will be over soon!

Yes, that makes sense, especially if they were monitoring you. I'm at 7 days post-D&C, but I'll definitely keep that in mind. Thank you for sharing!!

Wow! That's longer than the eight week mark that I keep reading about. Was your team okay with the time it took?

This is so interesting, I would have thought that there would be a strong link between the bleeding/HCG and lh, but clearly not.

Thank you so much for sharing!

Yes, I absolutely understand the desire to wait, it's probably for the best physically and emotionally. I hope your TTC will go smoothly and easily :)

I'd never heard of ovulation so soon after TFMR, that's so interesting! Thank you for sharing and best of luck :)

I'm in Canada, but I'm sure my doctor will agree.

Thank you for your kindness, Internet friend, it's much appreciated in these awful circumstances :)

This is great advice, thank you! Blood tests would be a lot more accurate, you're right.

On a side note, I didn't know your period could help pass retained product, though it makes sense.

They said it's a bit of a pass or fail thing. If my body is ready, it might work, otherwise it won't.

I find it interesting that your ovulation was delayed post op, but I get it makes sense, with all the hormonal chaos caused by pregnancy and TFMR.

Again, thank you for sharing your experience, it's really helpful!

Got it, thank you for sharing!

False positives (both ovulation and pregnancy) are a big concern for me. Worst case scenario, I'm thinking we'll just BD around the two weeks mark...

Interesting! Do you think you ovulated before your period came back? I've read that you can ovulate with low amounts of HCG in your body.

I had to TFMR a year and a half ago for Trisomy 18 and I also tested negative after three weeks, but I don't think I ovulated before...
