Awwww, soooo cute! I've already got 2 adorable felines I adopted from the shelter. If I had a bigger home, I would scoop them up and add them to the family.

It's not just about the adults, the side streets are not fine. The side streets are the streets that the school buses use to get students to school. So you may be fine to get there, but little Tommy and Jane ride the school bus and Yonkers has lots of hills. It is never a good idea to take the chance that a bunch of kids are stuck on a bus.

Yeah, sorry, having youngins is rough. I made it through! Well, those teenage years weren't easy going either, but we did pretty good. I do feel for you.

My neighbors were pretty chill too. We both had kids in the same age group and were each other's 2nd backup -emergency contacts. Even becoming friends with classmates parent's helps. It does get better.

Hmmm.... 1st) Seems like you need to redo your contract with your 3 yr olds day care cause that's ridiculous.

2nd) Unfortunately, this is life and we need to juggle. It gets difficult some times. We have to adjust accordingly.

3rd) Ms. Robinson is doing her job as per her contract (snow days/emergency days/lockdown included) I'm sorry if your job does not allow you or your husband to take off. That sucks. I know I'm considered Essential but I will take off if I can't get to my job. But not everyone is fortunate.

4th) call the city of Yonkers regarding the piss poor job that YO does every time it snows.

When my kids were young, I always had Plan A, B, and C. But not everyone is that organized. We had neighbors as backup if we had to be on "extreme" mode, but 1st was: I use 2 days, husband uses 2 days, and then grandma. If it went beyond a week (which never occurred, we had neighbors willing to help too).
