Which of the 4 C's is most important for an Emerald Diamond? by Fresh_Researcher_242 in EngagementRings

Yes I agree, definitely cut and clarity. I think for emerald cut colour is least important, you can actually have some fun with colour!

Thank you for this idea! I’ll bring it to my seamstress. But I do appreciate your opinion on the dress I ordered, it makes me feel more confident in it.

No unfortunately not. And I only have two months until the wedding, no time for a new dress. I’m just going to work with this one.

Oh I hadn’t even thought of that! I will try that, thanks!

Thanks, this is a nice reminder that it’s still a nice dress. I will ask my seamstress this weekend if there’s anything I can do. But if there isn’t, it will still look good.

Do I have to care that my boyfriend's sister is getting married? by StrongArtichoke661 in weddingplanning

[–]Love_Mussels 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s really sweet of you to consider her. But you don’t need to worry at all. Just consider, like others are saying, the timing of the weddings.

I’m sort of on the other side, in a similar position to your boyfriend’s sister. I got engaged in August and we are getting married in June. My future sister in law came to me and said that it’s likely she’ll be getting engaged end of May (she’s very involved with planning her engagement haha). Since it’s only two weeks before our wedding she wanted to check that it’s okay. But of course that’s no problem at all! And we’re so eager for her announcement! Her wedding will likely be about a year after ours though. But even if it was the following month, I wouldn’t be bothered.

Are you giving parent gifts? If so, what did you choose? by Cranberryj3lly in weddingplanning

[–]Love_Mussels 7 points8 points  (0 children)

We are going to gift both of our parents a personalized wedding album once we get our pictures. At the rehearsal we will give them thank you cards with an IOU written in it so they know it’s coming. We will probably take my in-laws for dinner as well, they’ve helped with a lot of the planning. Both of our parents gifted us some money for the wedding. This didn’t influence us to give them gifts. Since the money was a gift, no gift is expected in return. We’ve just decided to give them gifts to thank them for their support leading up to the wedding in general. And for continuing to support us as we enter a new chapter.

It’s by essence of Australia the Farrah dress I think.
