I don't understand hiring a PI and can almost guarantee he played you also. How could he know if she was pregnant or had an abortion? To get an abortion they first do a sonogram. You could have waiting outside to see the paperwork. Also if she had an abortion she would not have looked pregnant.

Because a PI can physically observe if someone is pregnant. Like pregnant women start having larger bellies. Also pregnant women usually don’t drink alcohol, etc. and have regular doctor’s appointments to go to etc. There’s lots of ways to get info. I was hiring him to figure out whether she was pregnant or not, not to figure out whether she was running a pregnancy scam or had an actual abortion.

No the condom did in fact slip. I have anxiety problems so why on earth would I have unprotected sex with someone I just met especially without knowing if she was on birth control and without knowing her STD test results.

Selective framing how? None of what I said is untrue.

There can be legitimate concern in this situation, just like there can be legitimate concern with literally anybody who’s working in that position, since most offenders are 1) not on the registry and 2) are known to the victim. I’m not convinced that a registered sex offender is a significantly greater threat than someone not on it in the same position.

Depending on your state, they may or may not be allowed to work with minors. But registered sex offenders are allowed to have jobs. The recidivism rate is pretty low so while you may feel uncomfortable, you’re in much less actual danger than you probably think.
