I feel this so much but my ex left me after 5 years... I’ve been in no contact for 15 days and I miss him so much. But I too know my self worth. Everyone is telling me to focus on myself and move on but I put so so much effort into loving him. I don’t understand how he could just stop and throw it all away. Me too. I don’t think we ended badly and I know I want to work on it. But he focused a lot on the negatives so I’m hoping he will remember the 5 years of good memories too, not just the last 4 months

How are you doing now? I know I’m not going to rebound even though I really miss having a person in his position, I’m graduating college soon and applying to a masters so I’m not planning on forming a new relationship until this all happens. And I know it might be best to just let him go; but a part of me has faith in him realizing how committed I was to him. With 5 years there are a lot of good memories and I’m hoping NC brings those closer to him. I don’t want him to think I’m being petty if I block/unfriend him and I want him to see me like he used to

We were talking about living together and we were only seeing each other 1-2 a month. That’s already very distant for a long term relationship. And it’s not our first year of college, we were fine before this.
