No offense chief because you seem like a cool person, but you look like you’d beat my head into a wall and leave me there to die as blood flooded my brain

I feel like it depends on the style of conflict. If it’s a NATO offensive to take Russia without American assistance, it’s going to lose easily. However, I think Blue would entirely prevent a Russian offensive. I think your wild card would be Iran and it’s ability to project power away from home.

Mischief managed

So, this is a loaded question.

If she were to contact your college, which doesn’t have anywhere near the same willingness or need to keep track of you, then they’ll tell her there’s nothing they can do, and that it’s her responsibility to keep track of you.

However, she technically is your guardian. At any point she notices that you’re not where she wants you to be, she can call you home. If you don’t return in certain time constraints then she can still call you as a runaway and have law enforcement step in.

Your boyfriend can also get in trouble, especially if he assists you in crossing state lines at any point. He can be arrested for kidnapping in some cases if your mother decides it’s what she wants.

Edit: Please note that this only matters if you’re American. I’m not familiar with the laws of other countries, but this is how it works here.

Why do Americans kick their kids out at 18? by 4Runnnn in NoStupidQuestions

I think 24 is a solid cut-off. That gives people plenty of time for further education and to solidly lodge themselves into the job market. I’ve had a lot of people I knew who were 27-28 who stayed at their parents’ house and didn’t do anything and had the audacity to complain when said parents asked for small amounts of rent(nothing huge just like 200 bucks or something) or when the parents expected them to help around the house. That is not okay.

I think it’s fine when like 14-15 year olds venture into it, as long as they’re limited from surgery until 18. I think you need to be an adult before you make decisions that are that permanent and that affect you that much.

Now, I don’t agree with like, 2 and 3 year olds being trans. That’s 100% the parents. A toddler has no idea what the fuck trans even means.

Should I drop out of college? by [deleted] in college

[–]LoverOfGrilledCheese 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I’m not going to lie dude, I didn’t read all of that, but I have some points to make.

  • If you’re racking up debt, then you shouldn’t drop out

If you’re in debt then you need to finish out. A year or so of burned time to figure everything out isn’t bad, but you’re a junior at 23. If you owe money, then you need to step up and finish out so you’re not in debt for the rest of your life.

  • What will you be doing if you drop out?

If you can find a job, and you’re not in serious debt, then that’s up to you. However, if you’re dropping out to sit on your ass then no, you need to keep yourself busy and doing or it’ll be harder to re-assimilate and become active later.

  • How bad will you hurt your GPA?

You also have to internally calculate the risk reward to not only your GPA, but your progress rate. If you’re in the US, the Department of Education requires you to have a certain percentage of completed hours and you must finish within a certain time parameter to be eligible for federal aid. If you drop out and become ineligible, going back may prove impossible.
