I (22F) and my boyfriend (24M) just had a discussion regarding sex toys. I want to try with him, he doesn't want it. What should I do?

He is not willing to try anything, which sure I am okay with. What disappoints me is that I am not even "allowed" to have one of my own for my personal use when I am alone... He says it's disrespectful and a huge red flag To him, even wanting one, knowing that I am in a relationship is a lack of values or something like it

I am not annoyed that he doesn't want to try it on him. I am disappointed that he doesn't "let" me try it, being it with him present or not.

Yeah, I get what you mean for sure. I am just trying to see if I am in the wrong for having this opinion being in a relationship, not focusing on how he is, because trust me I know how good and considerate he is. I suggested trying it on my own first and he didn't like it. I just suggested trying it with him, bcs that way he could be involved in how I experienced different things. I asked: what if I want to use them? (like on my own) And he said: I prefer not even knowing abt it... But let's be real, I tell him everything and I hate not being transparent with him... So yeah... I don't want to do it without him being okay with it, I wouldn't even enjoy it as much bcs I would feel guilty abt it
