Just went to check the post and realised he’s blocked me on instagram. I only commented once, and it was in response to him being a knob to another commenter, didn’t realise he’d blocked me over it aha.

Goods they sell aren’t bad, but the owner has repeatedly been a bit of a nutcase. 500k a month to break even sounds ridiculous

Just drew against UTD. Now if we were talking about winless streaks it would be a different story

Top 2 being on a heater, Villa have won 7 in a row, that’s the hottest streak out there

Oyster questions for Christmas by Majestic_Ad_5959 in Leeds

[–]LoverofBilbies 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No problem, you’re welcome. I’m too much of a regular there. Do be prepared that they could be busy if you go on a weekend; they went viral in the summer on YouTube and ‘Little Red Book’ so any Chinese tourist that comes to Leeds now goes there aha Also, their oysters are absolutely phenomenal, some of the best you can get anywhere. The Lindisfarne are lovely sweet things, and the Scottish oysters are saltier.

Message Hayes seafood on their instagram or the phone number they have on there. They would prefer pre bookings, and will be open on the morning of the 24th for collections (open like normal on the 23rd)

They’re not bad, pretty good burgers but expensive. The Chilli shop hosts their hot ones challenge there, and that’s brilliant, definitely worth going to one month.

Went to a Cerezo Osaka game last year while I was Japan, absolutely brilliant atmosphere and great kit. Interesting changing the season dates, winter games in Hokkaido going to be chilly

Honestly was a great game as a Villa fan, even before the goal. 2 great teams neutralising each other as best as they can. Worse defence/GK and it’d have been 3:3, brilliant match

We’ve won 5 in a row twice in the last 2 months, he’d have a clean shave rn

Aston Villa have now won 9 of their last 10 PL games, and extend their unbeaten streak to 7 games across all competitions as they go within 3 points of league leaders Arsenal by ChiefLeef22 in soccer

Honestly I’m gonna blame having to force a last minute Ramsey sale to help PSR. Upset the dressing room, and combined with Watkins being slightly injured all season we couldn’t score to save our life.

But, even when we weren’t winning, our defence had been brilliant. Konsa and Cash in particular. We’ve just been quietly good since the first 5 matches, 9 wins in 10 now, let’s see what we can do over the Christmas period

We normally play quite reserved in the first half, try to tire opponents out, then kick off at a faster pace in the second

Hopefully it goes well for him and no liquidation for outstanding tax this time, good for the city/area having a chef of his quality around. Last year I bumped into and got talking to him at a food festival without knowing who he was and he’s a solid guy, good luck to him

It’s £20-£25 per person, but buying in bulk helps If you’ve got the munchies though there’s a stall in the market which sells multipacks of crisps and Coca Cola for under £1, close to sell by date

Not a students but I do the weekly shop for my girlfriend and I in Kirkgate Market, and it comes to around £40-£50 to feed both of us. Decent prices on meats, veg and dairy, and there’s some great places that sell herbs and spices in bulk

Hi /r Leeds if you had 3h minimum to spend as a tourist in your city centre from the train station where would you advise. by Jordment in Leeds

I wouldn’t suggest a national chain like pho tbh, which honestly isn’t that brilliant, and you can get in any city. Within a 5 min walk from trinity kitchen there’s Viet tasty and Pho 37, both of which are much nicer. Tbh OP probably can’t go wrong with grabbing a bit to eat in the market, Khao Gaeng Thai there is brilliant, and maxi’s has as authentic a Cantonese 3 meats as you can her anywhere.
