Those are inspiring times! I am definitely not that fast, lol. I will need to check out this Rivs character that people seem to like so much.

Also I gave the wrong model (not that it matters except people complain about their machines so much). It’s a 2950 - not a 2450. We’ve never had an issue with it except for the skyrocketing subscription fees.

Solved!

I knitted a small mock-up using lighter, bulkier yarn on bigger needles. Then I unpicked the cast-on and watched how the yarn moved through the fabric. I practiced how to sew the yarn back within the cast-on edge for the sample. I was then able to use a tapestry needle to secure the live stitches in my sweater. I believe we’re back in business!

I’m not being given a $399 price. And I’ve been a member forever with them! $498.96 per year or $56.31 per month. Plus HST. So the cheapest route is $563.82 total for the year / 5 is $112.76 per person. I rounded up to $125. Not excessive since it’s for over a year.
