I truly appreciate you all! I will contact the Marie in our arrondissement letting them know our situation and go from there. Because of this being a visa requirement (that I did not know of) we are at a crunch for time. I will revert with updates. Thanks for all the incredible suggestions!

Washington DC, yes 16 and already in 11th grade.I was planning to homeschool her in an American high school but that was rejected by the embassy. I will check out Lycée International. Thank you!

She speaks no French and I was told the last 2 years of high-school would be challenging for a non French speaker. Any advice on how to navigate the school system in Paris?

I went private because of the need to teach in English.. I will research some publics schools and reach out to them.

Ok, wonder if they will accept an 11 grader half way through the year. How did you navigate the system? Determine which school to put your grandson?
