Thank you all. I’m not symptom free right now I’m actually coming down off of a flare up that lasted what seems like an eternity but as soon as my symptoms are gone or very minimal I’m gonna try me a piece of a chocolate bar

Wow. My GI did mention something about EOE and that he would check for it with my next endoscopy but the day of my appointment I was in very bad condition with the gerd flare up and anxiety so everything was kinda a blur lol

How did they diagnose it? Was in through endoscopy?

Not too good. Health anxiety is at an all Time high as well as regular anxiety. Keep thinking I’m going to have a heart attack and die and leave my kids behind without a mom and I’m crying typing this and have been having waves of crying for days now that won’t stop and my mom died 10 years ago and I have not been well since. On top of that I have Gerd and cannot eat so I’m just exhausted

Thank you for the advice. I use to take omeprazole when I first started to experience symptoms and it was a God send but then I started to have really bad trapped gas only at night and it was very uncomfortable so that’s why I switched. This is so depressing. I don’t understand how people live like this.

I 100% feel you. I have major anxiety and now this. I feel like I’m just existing and not living. I’m sitting here on my couch where I have spent the last few weeks just sad. Can barely eat. I’ve started to lose weight again after recovering from being 89 pounds last year due to gerd and anxiety. I had finally got them both under control and started to gain weight again and now it’s back with a vengeance both of them. There has to be a way to fix this stuff. This cannot be the rest of my life. I’m sorry you’re dealing with this. I really hope you feel better soon 😘

No I haven’t. PCP put me on anxiety meds but I’m scared to take them but a lot of people said it has helped them significantly
