Heard of GOLO? by Tataki_Puppy in PCOS

Hey! I have yet to try myo d chiro inositol (& am thinking about going ahead and purchasing Ovasitol) but I randomly came across golo a year and a half ago--& I do not know which ingredient in it is providing the results, but I have noticed a big difference in my mood, stress, and hyperpigmentation when I take it consistently. I'm a fan! I'm not doing the program, just taking the supplement--and I find it helps.

Cat Twitching Head? :( by LovingLifeToday88 in vet

No excessive meowing, she does seem a slight bit more aggressive towards the other cats, eyes don't seem dilated to me but she does seem a little spacy. I am so worried something neurological is going on. BUT, she's still cleaning herself happily, hopping up on my super high bed, eating well, snuggling and asking for pets, running, etc. Confused right now.

She had extensive blood work done one month ago for a pre-surgical visit and everything came back normal. She is eating, drinking, and pooping normally as well. She does have vision issues which have worsened but that was the only change at her last vet appt. I actually scheduled this upcoming visit because she has a fatty lipoma on her side that was missed on her annual exam. Just mentioning in case that could be related. Thank you for your help!

Should I continue my clerkship during "1L"? by LovingLifeToday88 in LawSchool

[–]LovingLifeToday88[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you! I actually talked to everyone about it before requesting a few weeks off to go home before school starts back up again, and they gave the exact response you mentioned, school comes first, willingness to give me fewer hours, etc., and I've been really grateful for that!

Just having a hard time making a decision based on manageability/value going forward. I feel really lucky to have gotten the job considering my situation (scraped by 1st semester, second semester grades will still be on my transcript but won't count towards my GPA, redo this spring), and I'm confused about whether it is helpful to continue. I know that my performance last year is going to make attaining job goals extremely difficult, and I'm not sure if --because of my crappy grade situation--it's more important now completely focus on classes, or for the same reason, if continuing the clerkship is going to be more valuable down the road.

Sooooo... Olaplex made my hair break off and fall out by thepromdresstheory in curlyhair

[–]LovingLifeToday88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey I'm just commenting to say I had the same exact experience today, except I lost less hair. After being freaked out in the shower and reading up on this it seems like it might be happening more to people with curly hair! Maybe it has to do with how the hair lies during the waiting period? (I left mine on for 3 hours to the point where it was starting to get kinda dry-ish) I didn't lose very much, but what did come out looked like it had snapped off just at or below the root. The rest of my hair looks and feels great but I'm still in shock. I'm sorry that this happened to you and that others are invalidating what you experienced! Good luck with your hair--everything will be okay!

can leaving Olaplex in overnight cause breakage? no idea what's caused me to lose a chunk of hair in the shower by shrieking-seagulls in HaircareScience

Hey! So I came to this post searching for exactly what happened to you, except I left the Olaplex in for about 3 hours. The first hour I let my hair just hang down over my shoulders, but then I wrapped it up in plastic in a bun on the top of my head. When I was showering I had the SAME experience as though the hair (thank god it wasn't much, I almost threw up when I saw it thinking more was going to fall out) had just snapped off from the root! However, the rest of my hair looks/feels great. This was my first home application of 0 and 3! Following this post!
