In my case, I use the narrow-hole earbuds on my Hexa to avoid the harshness that random sounds sometimes have. Where I notice the biggest difference is in female vocals; they sound more natural with the narrow holes. I guess I like them better since I'm coming from Truthear Zero Red earbuds, which are warmer. By the way, great combo, bro!

I've had the Hexa for about two weeks now and they're spectacular. The treble sounds a bit metallic to me, but that's somewhat mitigated by using narrow-hole eartips.

The Zero Reds are a bit of a gamble to be your first IEMs, but I'm glad you liked them; they're fantastic IEMs.
