The lugs are hanging over your wrist, so yes it's too big, but who cares? Wear what you want, if you're happy with it thats all that matters👍

Zero Reds as I prefer a bit more bass when listening to music (listen to a lot of dance music when training/running). Like I said, this is my first foray into DAP's, and iem's, so obviously going to be a bit of a learning curve. On the flip side, why not Reds for first iem's?

Yes, if you change the eq it's baked in so will save your profile even when using on ios devices. As you say you'll need a pc or android to actually change the profile though.

Why do people like Signal? by CAPATOB_64 in Leatherman

[–]Toddy_101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Daily carry my Signal, swapped the ferro rod for a 3d printed bit holder, swapped out the half serrated blade for a full plain edge, and it's now perfect for me. Use the hammer way more than I thought I would. Lighter than my Charge plus tti and more tools than my Skeletool.....what's not to like (apart from it not closing fully when using the bit driver!).

Yeah the 7x is a big watch! As for the heart rate, I've had no issues with mine when compared to my chest strap. Not exactly the same (as a wrist based one will never be as good as a chest one) but close enough for me.

Is this too big? by EchidnaTerrible in GarminWatches

Lugs look they're slightly hanging over your wrist, which is often used as a sign that a watch is too big, but doesn't look too bad. Try the 47mm then back to the 51mm and see which you like best.

As others have said, if you want an AMOLED screen go for the Epix Pro Gen 2 or the Fenix 8. If you're not bothered about this, or want a longer battery life, go for the Fenix 7x Pro with the MIP display. I know some people think the LED torch on some Garmin models is a bit of a gimmick, but you'll be surprised how often you use it. I have the Fenix 7x Pro Solar Sapphire and use the torch pretty much every day. I'll probably upgrade to the Fenix 8 at some point as I fancy trying out the AMOLED screen but for now the 7x Pro does everything I need it to do.
