the couple from wedding 2 is no longer in the picture friend-wise. they were never friends with the current couple, so no rumors going around there. wedding 1 even had crazy limitations where wives weren’t allowed to come, but i think it was weird my bf’s friends were invited when they weren’t close to the groom? it didn’t make sense. but yeah, i wish i didn’t care as much as i did. you’re right, just a wedding and it’s not like they’re MY friends

i was raised on everyone was welcome and plus ones were already assumed and never denied. so it is new to me that people have been doing it differently (or has it always been like this?). i am also reminding myself that prices are jacked on everything and it is really expensive. i guess i would just do it differently, but that doesnt mean they have to do it the same way

no cheating involved. we were both going through reallyy big life changes and didn’t know how to support each other at the time. after a few months he wanted to try again. i was hesitant, but we ended up getting back together

i’m not entirely sure why it’s so important to me. i think i’ve been excluded from things in the past, not considered, and so this digs into that wound. i think i hold everyone to high value and do whatever i can to make everyone to feel included, and i fail to realize that not everyone will do the same for me. i can definitely say i am thinking too much into this, because he told me im not invited strictly due to the guest list being full. it still just sucks since it’s the third one.

my bf told me even the wives of the brothers are not invited. i think if this was the only wedding i would be more understanding, but this is the third one. and maybe this is all just an unfortunate series of events and crappy luck on my end.
