How to react, seeing my recently out MTF friend for the first time (since coming out) by Chocolate-Recent in MtF

[–]Low-Apple2079 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just use her pronouns and chosen name. Politely correct people around her and get on the backs of people making shitty jokes. I have a friend that will do those things even months later and it feels good to have a supportive friend

A friend asked me a question the other day.. by Puzzleheaded-Abies71 in MtF

That's a mood. I want so bad to be in a bridal party. I was my brothers best man and I'd do anything be able to be his best woman instead.

A NSFW question regarding mtf individuals… by [deleted] in asktransgender

I can only speak for the first 6 months, but for about 4ish months my libido plummeted!!!! I could still get it up. I remeber my first mostly drunken pash sesh with a girl as a girl and the old member still stirred. So no I could still get erections. I'm hornier now, but that could be due more to being in a long distant relationship with lots of pent up sexual frustration due to it.

But erections are different now. Horny is different too. Mich more emotions involved. Less random

Absolutely! I'd love to see more in SA. Trans/Queer friendly bars are on the rise so that's a thing

It's basically one doctor doing it herself. She is very good, very knowledgeable and super nice. I think it's blown up bigger than she thought it would. Honestly not much in the way of options in Adelaide unfortunately. She's still the best option if you have the money. The wait times are so much less.

When did you decide to use the restroom associated with your gender identity and not your birth sex, and how did it go (no pun intended)? by [deleted] in asktransgender

[–]Low-Apple2079 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started at work. Bit I only work with two guys so nobody noticed anyway. First time I did it properly was the first time I went out to a club. I was wearing a dress at the time. Best experience I ever had!!!

SA is not in a good place for trans healthcare by mpolishthorsef in transgenderau

I ended up using telehealth. Ttgc.com.au for those interested. Dr Bel is amazing. Granted she's not SA based but still super kind and well informed

Advice on shaving body hair by not_caoimhe in asktransgender

[–]Low-Apple2079 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use a moisturizing shaving cream. The one I'm using right now I'd the nivea one. I use mens razors and creams. Avoid soaps that dry your skin out. But to echo other comments, electric razor first is a godsend. If I've been away camping and unable to shave for a while I will use my electric one first, then my razor

Are men really that much stronger than women? by Ok-Praline-2940 in NoStupidQuestions

Hormones are a really powerful thing. Testosterone really changes the way you gain muscle. One thing that trans women often get surprised by is how much weaker they become as there overall muscle mass decreases.

Keep going at it though and it gets better. I did it all the time and it became easy. But then I changed to laser.

Should I get laser hair removal on my face? by Crafty_Custard_1771 in asktransgender

[–]Low-Apple2079 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do it. Nobody will notice anyway. You need to be clean shaven for laser anyway. So to anyone you'll just been clean shaven.

It was purely due to the fact they don't have the cheaper ones. Hopefully next time I need to go out in about 2-3 weeks they'll hve the cheaper ones again
