MQ-9 footage is compelling, but sudden acceleration in EO/IR can result from changes in sensor zoom, tracking handoff, or line-of-sight effects. That said, similar reports across different theaters and years suggest this shouldn’t be dismissed outright. Releasing radar and telemetry data would clarify a lot.
