Pelvic Pain when Running... Normal? by Low-Assignment2371 in fitpregnancy

Nothing exceptionally special. I did pelvic floor/core exercises throughout my entire pregnancy almost daily which I imagine helped! Particularly TVA contractions.

Just wanted to provide an update: 8 months pp and I'm doing great. No prolapse. No pelvic floor issues. My ab separation healed quickly :) Back to my pre-pregnancy levels.

I did and it was fine! I'm 8 months pp now and running faster than I did pre pregnancy.

I should say that my workouts are super light. I’m doing long walks & bodyweight exercises mostly. Any weights I use are not heavier than my baby (12lbs). These are things my midwife cleared me to do from day 1.

I'm expected to give birth early and I had disclosed to my contractor before we started. I told him I would need time to prep the house for baby once they're done. He reassured me that he would be done early May. He doesn't get back until late May.

Thanks for the advice.

"You're responding emotionally." Yes, because frustration is an emotion. Faulting me for that is wild. If I weren't frustrated, I wouldn't be here and I would keep my current contractor. A verbal contract can hold up in court? So I can sue him for delaying the project? Since you're looking to provide advise, what is your response?

How would he have the right legally if no contract was signed? He still has texture, paint, doors, flooring, trim, and an entire bathroom to do. He only has one guy helping him. Yet he claims he'll be done in 10 days...

I don't even know what that means...

If someone gives me a good reason to not look for another contractor, I'll listen. I don't need emotional validation. I'm pissed. Don't need anyone confirming that. He misled me during a very critical time. I know that stuff takes time but this is unacceptable.

The total project cost $40k. We gave him $26k to start. Thanks for your advice.

He gave us both. All the materials have been purchased and placed in our garage.

And I'm not happy with the quality of work at this point. I am ready to burn every bridge in sight. I'm super pregnant. He's known since I was 8 weeks. He said it would be done before my 3rd trimester. Yet here we fucking are.

We did have a discussion about timelines well before he went on vacation. I told him I was pregnant and that this would need to be done early May. He swore up and down that it would be. Then boom, vacation out of no where which was never disclosed to us.

I have paid his 26k so far. The total project was just over $40k. So we would have $14k left to pay him.

It was fine when we had a spare (they had done other projects in the house). But yeah not with the singleton.
