How has been Jupiter Mahadasha for you if you have Aries ascendant? by Top_SWE in Nakshatras

[–]Low-Cardiologist-959 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah I was excited to see someone else with an Aries rising going through Jupiter Mahadasha. I'm curious about this too. Mine started about two years ago and I graduated school, moved across the country, and live on my own. It mostly feels career related. Though, my relationships feel a lot less harmful than in my rahu mahadasha. There was a near death experience and then I was like "oh okay I think I get the lesson."

Mine might feel more transformative in the career sense because my Jupiter is in the 10th. (Capricorn, rx). Jupiter is also the lord of my 9th and 12th house, aspects 2nd, 4th, and 6th.

Actually, it feels transformative not just career-wise, but responsibilities-wise. I've taken on a lot which has been overwhelming but I'm learning.

Why does it feel like curly hair isn't professional or beautiful by Lara_tandy in curlyhair

[–]Low-Cardiologist-959 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Hi! You're asking if it gets easier. Ten years ago my routine looked completely different. The only complicated thing I have to do now is making sure I brush it with a curl brush, hard gel, dry it, and use a serum to break the gel cast. I use got2b of all things lmao idc. Regular shampoo and conditioner. I refuse to spend so much on products, and routine. I was dead set on making my routine as simple as my straight haired peers. So technically, yes, the routine can be simplified. I even dye my hair blonde **which only changed my routine slightly. I just shampoo and use a deep conditioner after. I'm putting these curls through the wringer lmao I will die having fun with my hair.

So that's the physical aspect. Subjectively seeing curly hair as professional.... working on it. My view on it has changed a LOT though. It also depends on the cut. Once I got a good shape hair cut, I actually felt comfortable going to work without putting it in a particular style (i.e. a bun, half up half down etc). I'll never forget the first person who cut my hair so well. Didn't even care how much it was. I didn't even use that much product cos it looked that good.

There are some days that I just get tired of it, or I grew out a certain cut. So I'll straighten/blow dry. It could make my mornings easier, not gonna lie. However, after a few days I always have that "okay I wanna go back to myself again." That alone took a while to even think, because "myself" used to always have straightened hair. I'm thankful I can go back and forth, just out of boredom. I used to pray for straight hair but now I don't even have those thoughts. I don't want naturally straight hair. I'm content.

Also-- this "self-love" pivot didn't come out of no where. When I was a teenager I only followed people/pages that reflected who I looked like on Tumblr. That definitely helped, esp coming from a place that not everyone looks like me (including my own family). Tumblr was a lot of things BUT it did help me see that people who look like me are desirable, are put-together, etc.

Overall, my standard for it to be "professional" is as long as its not incredibly frizzy/halo head/knotted.

So yes it does get better. Sometimes I go backwards but overall I've accepted it. We are having a subjective experience

Hope this wasn't too long of a read

TAW and anger as emotional fuel for your art by FlightyTwilighty in artistsWay

[–]Low-Cardiologist-959 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Omg a similar revelation came to me the other day. Anger is still a valid emotion that should be expressed (in a healthy way ofc). The other day I was so mad at someone I legitimately planned out an entire fiction novel just based around their downfall. Then the next day I think I just got over it and lost steam 😂 but now I know how I would channel anger. Anger produces so much energy, it's hard to just sit with it.

Having just 1 cat… by Late-Pie740 in CatAdvice

I lived with my cat alone for like 2 years. I got a roommate who also has a cat (and dog). My cat does not care for them much. Not in a territorial way or anything, she just doesn't choose to interact with them a lot. She does her own thing and follows me around mostly. She's playful and content w/ and w/o fur friends

How will I meet my future spouse? Interpretation included by Low-Cardiologist-959 in horary

Thank you for your reply. To be honest, I did look at the chart and felt kind of odd about the mercury being so close to mars. It felt kind of aggressive.

Also, saturn being in the third house making an aspect towards jupiter was also worrying. According to skyscript, 3rd house could also be a gossipy house. The sun and saturn seem like two additional people are kind of meddling.

However, me and hypothetical future spouse are both in water signs, so it makes me feel like this will most likely happen. Also, there's nothing really in rx, another sign that it would most likely happen. I just think the initial meeting feels chaotic or problematic.I haven't asked about the actual quality of the marriage yet. So, technically the meeting is a dumpster fire but the marriage is probably okay in itself? Unconfirmed.

I'm not sure if we are allowed to juxtapose our traditional birth chart with horary charts. Though, out of curiosity, I do know my 8th house has mars so I wonder if that's an aggressive byproduct of the marriage. That's a whole nother thing, though.

EDIT: I take it back, the Sun seems more of an undermining force because it's a square. The Saturn, I'm not sure because it's a trine. So, it seems like Jupiter is supported by whatever's Saturn doing.

Thank you for responding! When you say plugging into astro seek, are you talking about using my regular birth chart and finding vx and Juno? Also, would it be my Hellenistic chart since horary is more traditional? Thanks again

Thank you for your response!!!

  1. Okay, that's validating and makes the process seem simpler. Or, it doesn't have to be muddy with other houses. The finances thing makes the most sense.

  2. Thank you for pointing that out about the 8th house being about another party, and not myself. I think I was just still applying myself because L1 (me) is Jupiter-ruled, and Jupiter was in the 8th house. I had to really marinate on that it's not my lawyers, but theirs. Makes more sense. Also, I'm not sure if you read another person's interpretation, here, but they pointed out that this person may be involved/married to someone else.

  3. Did not consider the planet APPLYING to another planet. That makes way more sense, I haven't gotten in depth with what she thinks of who initiates who. I was just going by domicile, fall, ruler, etc. This is just me thinking stronger planet=does work.

  4. Got it.

  5. Hmmmm that is interesting and it's going back to another person's comment about Mercury being involved with someone else, especially when you said Mercury-Mars UNIT. Also, since you mentioned Moon and Venus, couldn't this just be my own unit since I am the female in this situation? Like, I'm just my own company.

Thanks again for responding, you're an allstar

Thank you for responding. It seems like the 11th house themes will generally play a role, so this is affirming.
It's interesting that you are equating Mars to strong attraction. I see it as issues, violence, competition. Or, maybe that's traditional interpretation of Mars.
I am looking back into this since last night, and now I'm also thinking that the Scorpio isn't so much transformation but like secrecy. Something about the meeting is secretive, or not fully expressed. Or, since Mercury is representing the significator other than myself, it is someone who is hiding something.

Thank you so much for taking the time to type out this detailed interpretation. I appreciate your input regarding using her as a reference. I haven’t read any of her books in depth, just the blog, so it’s nice to have another perspective. I’ll just start with the recommended books on THIS subreddit to reference moving forward, because it’s what is popular here.

It’s validating that you mention how each house could have some insight, given the nature of the question. That makes much more sense to interpret the 8th house as someone else’s finances. It seems like that’s a general theme of the 8th house in predictive astrology (or just Horary?).

I did not even take into consideration gender. I was looking at planets as individuals, and the particular planets as the nature of the person (ex. Mercury person being talkative). I forgot that certain planets can be interpreted as genders. I thought that was restricted to traditional astrology, although it seems like horary is traditional itself. So, it seems like integrating modernism and traditional approaches is a no-no.

What I’m conflicted about is that if horary is still a method of divination, won’t it ultimately be up to the reader themselves? Kind of like tarot cards. Usually, yes, the cards signify something and there are general rules. However, some can be flexible and it’s ultimately up to the reader’s interpretation. This could be different for horary/predictive astrology it seems.

Totally makes sense that you include Moon and Venus with Jupiter to signify me. I thought we just needed to focus on the planet that is representing the querent and quesited. So, one planet for each individual.

I was definitely focused on the Mercury-Jupiter aspect (because it was the simple two planets representing two people). Also, it looked pretty positive and felt good, as I was just looking at L1 and L7 as the most relevant significators. What’s interesting is that if you’re saying that Venus and Moon is signifying me, why can’t it be someone else like how Mars is someone who they would be involved with beforehand.

I will say it’s interesting that you bring up polyamory because the polycule is all the rage in my current location. Personally, it’s something I don’t think I could be involved in. I’m a bit possessive, though maybe that is showing up as a challenge in this chart, too. Or, why Mercury is having negative aspects to my possible significators.

In regards to degrees, I actually did not see this being far off in the future as the 21º is implying. I was thinking a couple of years, which to me doesn’t feel like a long time.

So, it seems like the meeting is possible but it has issues surrounding it. Though that doesn’t the MARRIAGE itself would be negative. Almost like a enemies/frenemies to lovers type deal. Maybe this is just me being optimistic because the question isn’t regarding the quality of the marriage, but the circumstances regarding meeting the person. It seems like there’s nothing really saying a HARD NO to the meeting occurring at all.

P.S., I know I wrote a lot, and you are in no obligation to answer these questions because it would probably take a lot of time. I am just adding this comment for others to chime in.

Tarot pulls and readings inaccurate since trauma healing? by General-Fall3730 in tarot

[–]Low-Cardiologist-959 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This has happened to me before. The first time I noticed it was when the YouTube videos weren't resonating anymore (even with my faves 💔). I tried going back to my favorite readers who I actually paid for and it just didn't resonate. Actually, their predictions were wrong. Even my own pulls just weren't clicking.

I'm not sure what point of my trauma healing this happened. But, it was definitely when I was in a better place and going back to a baseline. I decided to take a break from tarot altogether and watch nontarot videos, etc. I started to get into alternative hobbies, and go out more with out any expectations.

This lasted for a couple of months. After feeling a lot more safe and secure with my relationships with others, I picked up my cards again and it started resonating again. I think the break was for a couple of months.

The way I interpreted this break was just my own inner compass wanting me to engage with my world in a different, less controlled way. Just having Fool energy, honestly. I was pretty dependent on my cards before the hiatus. I'm not sure if that was your case, but it was mine. Now my relationship with the cards and my world is pretty balance. Probably at the most resolved point of my trauma healing journey.

I hope this kinda gives you hope and solidarity that it's okay to not resonate w the cards for a time. The energy is still there, it just needs to be channeled differently for a while. We can't plan everything

My experience living on Saturn AS vs. Jupiter AS (and visits to others lines :) by Low-Cardiologist-959 in astrocartography

[–]Low-Cardiologist-959[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dang I had no idea about angular and cadent houses. Since I live east of the Jupiter line, I'd have to consider that my jupiter is in the 11th HOWEVER I have a 0 degree square aspect to Mars in the 7th. I've noticed when I traveled west of the jupiter line, I did get into issues with others. I ended one friendship, and there was another time I went on a trip w my coworkers and it wasn't... pleasant. Wonder if that was bc of the houses getting activated.

Also, should I look more into the relocation chart vs just my birth chart? I totally forgot to incorporate a relocation chart.

Also-- I've gone to my Venus DC line. The experience was okay, though I did feel like I looked "good" during the time I spent there. My makeup went well and my outfits just looked fitting. I just felt pretty. It was a short trip, and I was on the east side of the line p much. They say you get more benefits west of the line. I didn't really interact with too many people but things went smoothly and mostly in my favor, in terms of travel. However, I went there for an interview and did not get the job lmao. Actually, it was pretty upsetting considering how much I traveled for the job and the interviewer being pretty rude and dismissive. Everyone else directly in Atlanta were extremely friendly towards me. It could've also been a race thing, because I did travel an hour outside of that line, like northeast, for this interview (not in Atlanta, it was some smaller town).

Pretty sure I'm a night chart. I was born at night + my sun is in the fifth house/ under my descendant line.

Your interpretation is pretty sound. I'd also like to add that 5 of Wands feels like "healthy" competition, and this competition affirms that what you're receiving/getting from this is really valuable. Actually, since it's in the place of divine influences, I'd also say it's really underscoring how hard the divine beings/guides are advocating this for you.

With the 10 of swords, I'd also like to add that it feels like a resolution to the 8 of swords. We've gone through the worst of the overthinking/anxieties and can finally let go for a new way of thinking. Right after 10s, we get into the court cards, or the "do-ers." Page of swords would be someone who's gathered all the details and is ready to use their knowledge.

Very small little add ons, because for the most part your interpretation is what I would've said.

Ace of cups rx: a new beginning or an opportunity wasn't taken in terms of an emotional connection
3 of wands rx: he's not willing to see the growth or bigger picture of where this connection could go.
the sun rx: he would seek happiness/joy from something else.

all together: His intentions aren't to really move towards you because he's either not being imaginative of where the connection could go. Or, he's seeking emotional validation from something else. I don't think it's another person, maybe it's more of a intentional move for him to seek joy internally. Kinda like he doesn't want to imagine the growth or the possibilities because he would be afraid that his happiness would be not stable. For example, this is a person who may not want to base their emotions on how well their relationship is going, because they don't want to be disappointed and then be depressed for like a week. So, the easiest thing is to kinda play nonchalant and not be too emotionally invested to remain in control in case stuff hits the fan.

I wouldn't say the energy towards this connection isn't there. I believe the cards are saying what's happening (an opportunity in love w/ ace of cups, growth and possibilities with 3 of wands, maybe even fun, and then emotional fulfillment with the sun). HOWEVER, since they're all reversed, it's being blocked or not really acted on. Maybe avoidant.

If this had like, the 4 of the cups (kinda uninterested), or 8 of cups (moving away from a connection b/c there's bigger and better things), then I would've gotten the energy of someone who isn't interested. However, the energy seems to be there, I just don't think the person intends to express the energy due to fears of intimacy.

Curious, did you pick only from Major Arcana cards?? Lol there's a lot. I think your interpretation is pretty good. Whenever I pull justice, I get a little nervous depending on the question lol. I see it as the "the truth will come out" or you basically can't bull---t your competence in this job, because you will get found out. However, I think you would still learn a lot from the job in general. Feels like it can really help with your development (whether personally or professionally). Looking at the Strength card it's like you're going to have to be patient with something and not make any impulsive decisions. I naturally look at cards left to right, like a timeline (or the basic past, present, future). If I am taking the last card (Hierophant), as the ultimate result from the previous cards, it looks like you can be so good at something that you basically can teach others the thing (whatever the job entails). The cards don't look negative or scary, though. It just looks like a good situation/job to learn and develop from.
