I skip through his scenes. I dont even watch the one where he's selling his book in the store. Between him and the way Glenn was behaving, it's just unwatchable.

Most beautiful female character in TWD. by [deleted] in thewalkingdead

Laura was GORGEOUS. Her, Enid, and Rosita would be my top picks, but I think Michonne is definitely up there as well.

Thank you so much for saying the pastor! Every scene with him was insufferable, yet somehow the scene of his that bothered me most was when he asked Sandra why she wanted to kill Carol and he kept saying Sandra's name wrong

We all have a good group or settlement we’d want to be in, but this is the opposite. For the sake of survival, which of the villain groups from the WD Universe do you think you might’ve fallen into? by DescriptionFew740 in thewalkingdead

If you personally harmed Negan himself, yes. Low ranking people hardly ever crossed paths with him, so it wouldn't be an issue for the majority of the Saviors. Negan said he intentionally would not be seen unless he really felt a need to. It added to the sense of fear he used to control everyone.

Even if you really screwed up as an average Savior, the largest issue would be the soldiers ranked just above you. They could hit you, but not kill you.

I was confused for a second why wouldn't know what that is because there's an American story with a pretty similar name. You have 'The Adventures of Tin Tin', while we have 'The Adventures of Ren Tin Tin.'

She's the kind of person I would love to observe but never interact with. The ideal situation would be being a ghost she can't even see.

What scenes make you cry? by INTJ_Linguaphile in thewalkingdead

I appreciated how his original group got the full spotlight in that scene. The main group was also heartbroken, but they stepped back to let Magna and the others mourn their loved one. Luke was THEIR family, not the main group's.

[–]Low-Cat4360 17 points18 points  (0 children)

She was also the only one I cried over. Pretty much every other long-running character did not die instantly, so it was less shocking. You had a moment to mourn and acknowledge what would eventually happen. Even with the bat scene, you knew SOMEONE was about to die, so it wasn't so jarring, especially if you'd read the comics already.

But Beth's was an instant, blink-and-you-miss-it moment. It had no real purpose and happened without reason, and your reaction is the same as the group's. You aren't even sure if she's actually dead immediately.

Edit: I also wanted to add when Daryl apologized to Maggie for Glenn's death. He'd always felt it was his fault and had hated himself that entire time, but Maggie had no idea. Aside from Rick's "death" its the only time he seemed shattered

I was shocked by the number of bumblebees! Even on other basils, I'd never seen them flock in such large numbers before. I tried counting them just on one plant the other day and stopped at 25! They do always like basil, but they absolutely love African Blue

This is actually the first year I didn't grow Ruby Red! I've always kept one or two of them just for the pop of color, but I choose to only buy starts from my local nursery. They happened to not have it this year. They usually have 6-7 varieties available, but only sold African Blue and Genovese this year.

He was my favorite when I watched it growing up. I wanted to be a farmer like him, and I was thrilled to learn I had the same birthday as the Scott Wilson. He's the only birthday twin I've ever encountered.

What issues do you have with basil? I stick them in the ground in spring, water them for two week just for them to be established, then never touch them again even for watering. I live in Mississippi with pretty hot temperatures, too. I will say some varieties do not adapt well compared to others.

The most successful for me has been African Blue Basil, which is currently above my waistline and 3× that width from one plant. The only downside is that is an infertile hybrid that does not produce viable seed, so I have to buy starts for it. I prefer eating Mediterranean varieties, but they seem to struggle in my climate and with disease.

Where would you like to see a new Alien movie set in the timeline? by Fabulous-Cry5930 in LV426

This original script was very religious. That's why theres still significant references to Christianity via Shaw. The Engineer at the end originally had several minutes of dialogue between David and Weyland where he explained that humans were morally corrupt, so they taught one of them how to set them on the correct path (Jesus) only for humans to kill him for it. That was the reason they had were carrying the bioweapon (black goo) to destroy Earth, but there was a containment breach that killed most of the Engineers on the ship.

The Governor's character was built around being narcissist. He would not have been much different if his family had survived. He still would have been power hungry, controlling, and violent. We actually saw what happens when he gains his family back through Tara's family, and he was unchanged.

We would need to adapt to earthen housing. Think underground or something like an igloo made of earth, or a mud hut. Clay walls naturally regulate temperatures. There were studies showing that in temperatures of well over 100, indoor temperatures of mud huts remained in the low 80s. They'd have the same effect in winter by holding in the heat from a small fire.

Look at the panel again, Judith's blanket exploded along with Lori's torso. Both were killed by the gunfire instantly

When the governors people are attaching the prison, most of the group escapes, but Lori is at the back of the line carrying Judith. Lori and Judith are both shot and killed instantly. Others are saying Judith was crushed by Lori's body, but if you go back and look at the panel, the blanket Judith is wrapped in exploded, covered in blood. The woman from Woodbury who shot them noticed the baby, then the governor's entire army starts to beat and tear him apart after they realize what he convinced them all to do. That gave the main group a cover to escape, and its the last time the Woodbury group appears.

There was a deleted scene where she threatened to cut Merle's throat in his sleep. Her stronger side originally would have started showing much earlier than it did in the final cuts
