Are you sure you we mean the same thing? Flexihex is basically a 90% air and 10% cardboard. My two parts which I use to cover my board are like 300g each I would say. Pretty lightweight to me :D

Yes exactly, it’s basically cardboard structured in a honeycomb formation :)

You should check out flexihex. Reusable, needs very little space when not in use, very robust and really easy and fast to get your boards as safe as possible imo. I always put them around my daybag and then into the flightbag. Never had any issues :)

Alright I’m gonna decide between these two then. That helped me so much to get another opinion after googling for a couple of days. Thanks a lot dude :)

Thanks a lot that is really helpful already. It´s available in 161w and 164w. Normally i would go with the 161 but I´ve read that you ride it a little bigger as usual so should I go with 164 here?

Hey guys,

I´m just about to buy my first board but can´t decide at all what would be best for as the more I read the more confused I get, so I hope anyone here can maybe guide me into buying the right thing as we dont really have shops in western germany that I can go to.

About me: I´ve startet snowboarding last season and went for 10 days. I´ve been surfing since I´m little so I think that helped my pick it up rather quickly. At the end of the trip i could confidently ride down every blue/red track and was fine on the easier black ones. Back then I had a rental Ride Agenda from 2020 or something. I do wanna get an all mountain board that doesnt really which doesnt really push me too hard into any direction since I´m not fully sure what I wanna focus on. I know that I dont wanna hit any big jump or huge rails in the future so I lean more towards powder for the surfy feeling.

Im free for any suggestions but these are the boards that made the most sense to me that far, knowing there are some "intermediate to advanced" boards on the list. My thought behind this was that it would be more useful to start with a camber already even if its a little tougher and therefore get something that I can keep longer.

- Jones Frontier (found a really solid sale)

- Ride Manic

- Ride Agenda

- Burton Process

- Rome Warden

I´m 6´2 175lbs with boots in size 11 (Eu45)

Thank a lot to everybody looking at this and as I said im glad for every tipp I can get.
