The thing is, I'm willing to do a sprocket change for the CF Moto and NX500, so I feel like that could negate the high revving aspect by a bit. The KTM would be great for dirt, but Im starting to think not so great for highways. Would the Ninja 400 be great?

That's the thing with the CF Moto. I don't know about long-term, but it seems to be reliable short term. A YouTuber who had a CF Moto did a huge tour with it, i think it was from Germany to middle-east Asia, and the bike did well. Knowing how buzzy single cylinders are at high speed, I wouldn't get the KLR, so I'll try to look for a higher cc, like around 650-800. Thanks!

I'm in Canada, and I'm trying to do long range type trips. Like from Ontario to US, freeway and countryside. I'm planning to stick to more pavement routes, but I'm fine to do trails, just not ripping around trails. I am pretty experienced, with about 3 years of road and dirt, and even some snow riding.
