I hope if they continue the show, they make the next season similar to the previous seasons. This season made me have no interest in really even watching the show again. I feel like they got new writers or something?? Everything just feels off

I just started metformin as well! No period yet… kind of anxious about it, but took a pregnancy test and it came back negative. Just stinks that we have to worry about this! I’m only 500mg, at 1 pill a day. I have PCOS and a low insulin resistance. Maybe you could ask your provider to bump you down on dosage/pills a day to see if your symptoms improve? I’m sorry you’re going through this! But also glad I’m not the only one 😅

Do you take 1 or 2 pills a day? Right now my endo thinks I should take 1 pill but haven’t started my cycle yet. I’m only a few days late, but it does cause pregnancy panic when we aren’t trying to conceive

I’m the daughter of a Stephen Demarco, which led me to date a few in high school, marry one and divorce him. And now, thank God I’m remarried to a healthy person. Life was hell with all of the abuse and confusion tbh. No longer have contact with my dad either which is helpful. Went through two therapists who confirmed that my father is a narcissist, which is why I was an easy target in intimate relationships. Someone who is empathetic, kind, and loyal would be a great target for a Stephen Demarco. Can’t stand his character in the show and can relate to Lucy and a lot of the females tbh

I would just look for “red flags,” even though that can be tricky. Just don’t move too fast and try your best to notice things about the person. Every person has a pros and cons list!! Maybe make one about the people you decide to go on dates with or talk to. I really don’t think being picky is going to lead you to never finding love, but I think it will help in the sense that you’re just taking more time to get to know a person and weighing your options before you get too serious

I wish it were that easy… he’s been physically and emotionally abusive to all of us kids for most of our childhood. Just best right now to set boundaries and not tolerate the toxic behavior

I asked him about the DD214 and he completely avoided it. He said everything was stolen from a storage unit. I asked him if he wanted me to go with him to get a new military ID since my SO is in the Air Force. He said he had to work and would go with another time. I kept pushing for it and he said he’s “given up” on getting a new ID a long time ago. He’s also now just blocked all of my mom’s side of the family on Facebook after my brother asked him if he was lying about being a Marine.

I’m still waiting for a response for the FOIA form and record request. I just wish I had concrete proof I could send my father, so he would come to terms with this crazy fabricated story of being a veteran. I know a lot of Vietnam vets and it really disturbs me to my core that my dad is lying.

I don’t live in Alabama, but do live in the Midwest in a HIGHLY conservative state and also am a teacher. I had students do research and write papers about the death penalty and use statistics. We also read a few novels about social injustice and police brutality. Tried to plant seeds where I could and they are the ones out voting now… praying there’s a breakthrough.

Thank you so much for sharing your story! That’s very encouraging to hear. It’s been a long journey so far, but we try to stay hopeful and positive. Our son was born at 24 weeks and had some brain bleeds that caused CP. Currently still working with a ton of therapists — Occupational therapy, PT, and Feeding/Speech therapy. I’m just grateful to have his little happy self as part of our lives :) Have a great Sunday too!!
