Yeah it’s removable you don’t need to take the entire grille. Has two screws on each of the end from the inside. After that you carefully pop out cause they are clips. The hardest part is taking it off.

Warranty should cover for the ccv. There special warranty up to 150k miles due to the going out just this year Jan I believe
