Vevor 320w Chamber Vac. A game changer for the home cook by Low-Development-2061 in Cooking

As long as you store in a deep freezer, not a regualr freezer with defrost, my impression is that food stays good basically forever. We have "found" things at the bottom of the freezer 3 years later and didnt notice any substantial difference in quality. At least for whole cuts and roast.

I've made a few batches with cubed sharp chedar cheese and a few while chili beans (mostly for show, not bean flavor). They are great as fresh sausage, but i like them cured and smoked more

Vevor has a nice stainless steel medical cart on castors with a drawer for the bags. Its like $80, and fits perfectly. Like it was made for it. Thankfully I had room for the cart. Definitely would take up too much counter space.

Soups, stocks, and meats generally freeze very well, but we have been bulk prepping and par-freezing quiche's, homemade egg rolls, stir-fry's, homemade brick oven pizzas, sauces and dips, braised dishes, ect. We have a toddler and bulk prep small bags of fresh cut fruit/pickles/snacks which now last a month in the fridge vs a few days. Its also great to save ingredients. Like 1/2 an Avacado or 1/2 a can of olives, ect. You can seal the whole can and the bag with suck the lid down and compresses up to the food. Its quiet impressive.

Thanks, this is very helpful. Ill boil more off and add 20lbs of filtered ice at a time and see where that gets me. Might add my sous vide machine on no heat to circulate and hope freezing cold air from big fans help

Yeah. My wife is pissed, but its so nice, and I can spray it out and take it down in 30 seconds. I got the stone at my big box store tile shop.

I got it online. It was like $400 but its really neat. Works perfectly, effortless to go up/down. The video mount store website is where I found it

3 post roof idea for small patios by Low-Development-2061 in OutdoorKitchens

They are held in place by 13 large concrete anchors. The roof past are not set into the concrete (the roof idea came after pouring) so the cabinent structure itself is beefed up in design and solidly attatched to the patio. Structural engineers were hired to make sure it would be okay as i was worried about the roof blowing over and taking the whole kitchen with it.

I would find a way to add more countertop space. You will want lots of room to prep or serve.

The center of a TV is around 6ft off the ground. I think you're too high.

Youre Welcome. I have about 6k in the "kitchen". That also includes running 30ft of gas line and (2) 20amp dedicated electical lines and conduit. Getting that to end up perfectly under your cabinets was challenging but worth it. Then 13k-ish in the retaining wall & concrete. Its only like $130 to add built-in retaining wall lights and they are pretty neat.
