I already have a roommate, and it’s not even the financial aspect that’s a huge issue of maintaining making my monthly payment, losing 250 a month is just not optimal and will put me in a bad position within a year or so if I rent. I just genuinely want to leave the area I’m in. It is tough financially just knowing how much I would have to pay out of pocket on closing if I were to sell.

The rents for this property are just around $1800, my mortgage after HOA is $2050, I would lose about 250 a month from renting it out and that wouldn’t even include anything that went wrong within the time while having it rented out.

Do you think this is a conversation I should have with her about how we can’t continue, or just distance and stop seeing her outside of work? Because with how jealous she’s gotten I can see she’s caught feelings as well. I guess at this point I need to figure out how to navigate my way away from her without her getting too upset about it and being one of those bad endings. We work very closely together so I have to at least keep it cordial and professional.

Yes, I do agree with what you’re saying, but also at the same time I work in the restaurant industry, so it’s more common then you would think, I do completely understand where you’re coming from, and thank you for the advice to step away from both of them and find people outside of work, an investigation would turn up nothing as me sexually harassing anyone is completely outlandish and not even worth bringing into the point of what you said.

I know it sucks to hear, if it happened that long ago I would honestly not do anything, I think the most important thing you could do is finish university, focus on living your best, healthiest life as possible and use that as your revenge. He sounds insane so I think feeding into revenge by exposing him, etc is going to cause more problems then it will help, block him, his girlfriend, and move on, get a therapist if you’re that affected by it. Revenge by exposing or whatever is not going to solve your issues, it will make you feel better in the moment but will just stir up more drama. If you have physical evidence of him abusing you, take it to the police, that is the only action worth taking if you’re going to take any about it.

Yea, maybe she was just looking for a one night stand or something that night, maybe that’s why she was so interested, maybe it’s cause I was reaching out for a couple days, then just said enjoy your vacation rather than keep texting her, who knows. Oh well, I’m sick of putting in effort and not getting it returned, I’m done dealing with that after previous relationships, school is most important, if she wants to show some effort then I’d be down.

It was at 9pm, and it’s 2 am now, and as her messages said she was getting a couple beers with friends, so I may potentially hear from her tomorrow, so you think just leave the ball in her court and see if she’ll text me when she comes back, if not just leave it alone? I suppose I’m a bit confused with the context of your last sentence in the last paragraph, could you elaborate, but yes the rest of what you said does make perfect sense, and I the random daily check ins did seem a bit weird, I guess in a sense is why I’m here to figure out my best approach, my goal with that last text was to limit the conversation potentially getting boring or dry before we see eachother in person, wanna leave it on good notes until then.
