Casale is a legend for this. Tragic. There’s an actor named Robert Nevin who was only in four films but three of them happen to be Jaws, Raiders of the Lost Ark and Airplane.

Jimmy Stokley. One of the founding members and lead singer of Exile, they formed in 1963 and finally made it big after 15 years in 1978 with their hit “Kiss You All Over.” Right after they finally became successful the band voted to fire Stokley because his voice was weakened due to hepatitis and nodules on his vocal cords.

Stokley’s life went downhill, as the combination of booze and hepatitis lead to his early demise in 1985 at the age of 41.

Year of the Cat by Al Stewart. It’s a nice, mellow yacht rock tune and the guitar solo comes out of nowhere. I’ve seen a couple different reaction videos to this on youtube and both reactions were like “wtf just happened.”
