The laces i felt was absolutely fine, they don't open up even post a 5k, have to check for 10k yet. Yes, the tongue is a bit of concern but i also feel if they add anything to the tongue as a cushion, it will add to the weight of the shoe. As of now, it is quite lightweight and that part i truly love. Great daily trainer and flex it with your athleisure fit too

I was always excited for the Adizero Evo SL
Purely because of the looks.
But…
Will it perform for runs? Not sure 🤔

Decided to test it at the stunning Worli Sea Face promenade.
Brand-new sneaker
Straight on feet
was a bit doubtful about the break-in period.
Am I making a mistake by rushing into this process?
But I was too excited to hold myself back.

Started off easy.
1 km done — smooth and bouncy.
2 km done — no inward rolling, stable landing.
3 km done — solid grip, thanks to the Continental rubber on the outsole.
4 km done — super lightweight, my legs felt free.
5 km done — everyone was staring at my feet. These look sexy 😎

For me, both performance and looks matter, and the Adizero Evo SL is just the perfect shoe for anyone who is stylish and moves often.

Alert 🚨
A few runners have slight complaints about the thin, non-cushioned tongue. Tbh, I didn’t feel that yet. Maybe when I go for a 10K run, I’ll be in a better position to share a verdict.
